I am happy to update my review. The service after my interaction with with the second manager was exceptional. She was able to better explain the process and how they can grow as a staff. People have bad days and I completely understand. Thank you for reaching out and fixing the problem to make our local Zaxby's better!!!
My review is of assistant manager Dominique Gillette. Less than stellar representation of a company. I ordered my food at the speaker and was instructed it would be a 6-10 minute wait . I said that’s fine what can I get without waiting. I ordered those items that were recommended. I get to the window I pay and get my drinks. A min later I was told I have to park and wait. Confused I asked if I have to wait why did I order the food recommended if I have to wait anyways. I asked to wait at the window since I was already lied to once. They said no and that I had to park if I wanted my food. Given the ultimatum I asked for a refund. Dominique happy to be rude said absolutely. She said please give me the drinks back telling to the back kitchen cancel that order now. She didn’t try to resolve the situation nor offer any remorse. Finally she hands me half a receipt with nothing on it. I asked for the entire receipt as I did not have one and wanted to make a review. She told me no and that it’s been closed and she couldn’t give me a receipt. She shut the window and started dancing in the window trying to ignore me. I waited for another 5 minutes and finally she produced one. I asked if she was the manager and if she was having a bad day. She began to point at her name tag and spelling it acting very disrespectful. I hope in the end a camera is pulled to review the experience. I’m gonna eat Zaxbys either way but allowing people who represent you act that way on behalf of a business needs...

I was told by the drive thru attendant that he could give me "mostly drumsticks but not all drumsticks" I asked why and I was told it was "company policy". I pulled to the window and asked to explain their policy on wings. I told him I could order drums only anywhere else why can't I here. His response was "I don't know" I asked "you don't know?" He said "no, I can get the manager for you if you'd like." My response was "If you don't know your policy just keep the food" and I left. I would be willing to pay up charge to get my food the way that I want it but I was never given that option. I was simply told "it was against policy". If it is truly against policy, it is a shame that your employees do not know the policy that they enforce. The SWEET tea, tasted like brown water. Literally, no sugar. If I were an idiot, I'd think the extracted some from it somehow.
This location is in a decent location but ho estly. I expected it to be at higher caliber in comparison to other places.
2 small sized meals costing an astounding $28 is outrageous, I'd been better off getting food elsewhere and spent less and git just as much or more even.
Zaxbys, you have to do better and get better on your prices....I don't believe I'll be back willingly.
Sad thing is? I've always enjoyed Zaxbys as a once in a while 'treat me" meal, but not...
