Finishline Cafe is owned by an adorable, hardworking couple. They are kind, have a great sense of humor, and have great food. The wife takes care of the front of the restaurant. The husband takes care of the cooking. It takes a bit for the the food to be cooked because it is all handmade and fresh to every order. We eat breakfast here everytime we come to town. You will not find a better breakfast anywhere. Everything from meat quality down to something simple like an English muffin is top quality. Im a bit of a chicken fried steak conesuere and this place has the best. Pan fried local beef perfect crisp and homemade sausage gravy. The service is equally excellent. Jackie doesn’t even bring us menus. Sees us walk in and puts our order in and brings our drinks. Sadly wasn't impressed. The food wasn't very good. My husband had the chicken fried steak and he said the gravy was tasteless. I had an omelet and it was dry and the bacon was well done.
