El Torito Grill — Restaurant in Gering

Went here for a lunch meeting and was impressed! Service was fast and friendly. The food was fantastic.

I had a medium combo of 2 enchiladas and a taco. The taco was a soft taco, which I don’t think was explained. Not a big deal but I do prefer crunchy tacos.

Their table salsa is hot which is how I like it. When asked if I wanted hot or mild on my meal, she wanted to make sure I wanted hot. So that might tell you how hot they perceive it to be.

I enjoy hot, so if you’re fine with the heat don’t be afraid to ask for it.

Food was fantastic and as is typical comes out really fast on a hot plate.

Overall great experience and will happily return.

Very disappointed they made us wait for our meals for an hour and a half just because they didn't like us!! We though maybe They were understaffed? not one customer in the place, that should have been my first clue! so we made the mistake of coming back and guess what we got the same royal treatment of waiting an hour and a half for our food and burnt rice!! We sent in my son and his family they got served and waited on in less then 10 min and got their food in less then 5 minutes!!! We will not ever be back and the food is nothing to brag about!!!you do not get to pick and choose your customers!...

HORRIBLE we decided to give a second chance after finding hair in our food. Poor service. Bfast burritos are bomb but anything else is trash. We got the flautas and it was roast beef rolled in a wet tortilla. Like crock pot roast. Chicken enchiladas were literally unseasoned chicken in a tortilla with cheese on top. And somehow that cheese was not melted even though I burned my finger on the plate so bad it blistered. It was hot as a curling iron. Not cool. The 2 stars are for the salsa and...
