Great place for German food! Went there during lunch for our anniversary. Has a nice European charm with a cozy homely atmosphere. Waiter informed us they’re in the process of combining the menus, so we got a mix: frog legs, lunch combo (BLT & goulash soup of the day), schnitzel, and complimentary bread. You can tell they put work into keeping things local and comfortingly homemade- The bread was dense and crumby but great for dipping the soup, the frog legs needed a teeny bit of salt but flavorful, the BLT was fresh and crunchy and with local sourced bacon, and the schnitzel was comforting with good flavour. The desserts were also all homemade and looked so good! Lastly, was also very reasonably (maybe criminally?) priced! Definitely recommended as a great lunch and dinner spot and for some homemade German food. Will be back :)

We visited Horsch Radish, a German restaurant, on a Wed and we were treated like we were the only guests there. The server was incredibly attentive and made the experience feel special. The Brat Platter came with three delicious sausages—cheddar knacker, Hungarian brat, and weisswurst—served with 2 kinds of sauerkraut, the original had a unique fennel flavoring and the red cabbage was tender and had a subtle sweet flavor. The Rahmschnitzel, breaded pork cutlets with mushroom gravy, was cooked to perfection and came with two sides. It was like heaven. We ended with a rich cheesecake, and the server was kind enough to split the toppings so we each got what we liked. Highly recommend! Try going on a Wed or Thurs when it's quieter. If you're going on Fri - Sun, be sure to make a reservation!

Made a reservation for New Years Eve and really enjoyed our evening. Had a singer in the bar, have added some basic salads and simplified the menu compared to the previous Bayern Stube. You pick from 6-8 entrees and all come with any two sides… still some of the German favorites but added a few staples too and a vegetable of the day which was garlic buttered broccoli tonight. We LOVE the Hungarian goulash and lucky for us it was the soup of the day. They had another of our favorites, apple streusel, on the dessert tray…. served warm, not too sweet and bursting with cinnamon. We’ll be back!

I was SO excited when I learned that this restaurant would be keeping the same recipes and chef as Bayern Stube. If that's true the person must be suffering from amnesia regarding the meal preparation. Honestly the only thing that tasted the same was the red cabbage. I ordered the 3-sausage plate, which was very good; I just thought it should have come with more than one side. My side salad was edible, I can't say that it was good; there were some unusual vegetables on it. And it was kind of on the pricey side for the portion I got. You get a bread basket with the meal. I have never in my life paid as much for a single (I was never offered a refill) glass of iced tea as I did here. $3.50 for a rather small glass full of ice and a little bit of water heated over tea leaves. I really dont understand why restaurants charge the same amount for tea as they do soda. There's no $300 a case soda syrup they need to buy; it's literally hot WATER poured over leaves. Must be a 'just because we can' thing. My black forest cake (which used to be Heavenly from Bayern Stube) was $8 or $9. It was mostly whipped cream so it looked much bigger than it actually was. The cake part was dry, there was hardly any cherry sauce on it, and it was so tiny. So basically they jacked the price up by $2 and changed the cakes to 2 layers instead of the former 3 layers. I'm going to give them a second chance after they've had time to expand their menu and HOPEFULLY take a good look at their pricing anomalies. Seriously guys.... $3.50 for tea and $8 for a dinky, dry cake is verrückt. They still have that good old polka music blasting on the speakers, though, just like old...

We have eaten at the Bayern stube yearly for many years. In October of 2022 we visited under the new owner ship. Had a great time. Tonight we returned. It was the absolute worst experience we have ever had in a restaurant. The first thing, my water glass was dirty. Took a very long time, at least 45 minutes before our drink order was taken. Drinks came to the table a couple at a time. We did have a large group. Then another few minutes two more would arrive. One beverage that should have been hot was ice cold. Finally took our orders. Also had ordered appetizers at the time of the drink order. That was another 30 minutes. Salads and soup came to the table one at a time over 20 minutes or so. The food started arriving in yet another 30 minutes, again one plate at a time over the next 30 minutes. No one ate together. Food was cold, butter didn’t even melt on mashed potatoes. Food was poor quality. When it came time for bills, another disaster. They had to totally rely on our honesty. They had no idea what had been ordered. Manager came out to help with that. Said she had no idea there had been issues because she had been loosing her voice so was only doing salads. What a poor excuse from management. No offers were made in compensation or even an apology. Our reservation was 5:30 didn’t get out of there until 9:30 and it wasn’t because we were having a good time! We have visited here yearly but we will not be back and will be warning...

Had a dinner party at Horsch Radish yesterday evening. It was a terrible experience. Reservation was at 5:30. We were a party of 20. We were seated promptly but things quickly went down hill from there. The pitchers of water on the table were not sufficient for the # of people at the table and the glasses were dirty. The restaurant only had 1 server to cover our large party. Our server took 20-30 min before taking our drink order. While taking our drink order he would frequently have to say “sorry we are out of”. It took about 20 minutes again before drinks were served and about 1/2 of the drink order was correct. I ordered appetizers for the table. I was ordering frog legs and Bavarian pretzels. Again server said “sorry we are out of”. When the pretzels finally arrive they were cold. Then it was time to order entrees. The menu is very limited but again the server had to say multiple times “sorry we are out of”. When entrees arrived at 7:45 half of the orders were correct. Myself and 3 others in our party did not even get served until the rest of the party was finished with there meals. I talked to the manager about our experience and never recieved an apology. The food was horrible. Especially for the price. Dine at your own risk and keep your...
