While we didn't have the opportunity to sample the pizza, the barbecue we enjoyed was truly exceptional. The meat was tender and flavorful, with a smoky char that was simply irresistible. The sides were equally delicious, complementing the main dishes perfectly. To quench our thirst, we indulged in their selection of craft beers and domestic options. Read moreWe were very dissatisfied. Not a restaurant, but a concession stand. A BBQ joint that's out of ribs? Seriously? Prices were way too high for the quality and quantity of food. We've paid less in the Carolinas for 2x the food and 2x the taste. People were very nice, no complaints there. We waited 45 minutes for cold food. It isn't even made to order, but pre made Lord knows how far in advance, then microwaved. It's not even fresh. The place, if revamped and done right,(with an actual commercial kitchen and fresh food made to order) could be a gold mine. As it is, I'll never go back. Sorry to do this, but it's the truth. Hope they can make it better, because we'd love a good local restaurant. As it is now, we'll pass. *Thanks for your response and I appreciate it, but not every restaurant reheats food in a microwave. I understand the BBQ has to be made somewhat in advance, but it can be kept whole and pulled per order or stored in an oven at low temps till needed. I did not expect a 5 experience from a BBQ joint, that's just silly. I expected good fresh food and timely service. Not too much I don't think. Also, there were 8 people there. Not busy enough to...
Read morePossibly the worst experience we've had in Gilbert West Virginia. We stayed at Twin Hollow last October rented a side-by-side and ate at Trail 12 BBQ twice the food was excellent. It was so good but I've been telling my kids about it since October we get there tonight with my kids and it was horrible. I spent over $65 on ribs a hamburger and 5 Trail 12 hot dogs the hamburger was burnt the hot dogs and the fries were not just cold but frigid "not sure how that works in a deep fat fryer" but they were. We waited 32 minutes for our food we were the only people at the restaurant when we ordered. My kids said I should ask for our money back, I told my kids it wasn't worth my time and we left. It's a mile up the mountain to get to this place, I suggest not wasting your gas I'm very disappointed you can keep my money, I'm not...
