Walked in to order sandwiches. 3 people are working. A lady supervising and 2 young men at the counter. The supervisor appears to be working on something and one young man ask what I would like. I started giving him my order when the supervisor interrupted him and told him he needed to do an online order because it has printed out before I had walked to the counter. fine. Sure. I can live with that. But then the second young man tried to help me afterwards and she told him he couldn't and that he needed to help the other young man with the same ticket he was working on.
That was actually not okay. You don't need two people to work on one order. She was just playing games at that point and I wasn't interested. I went in there with the intention of ordering 6 footlong sandwiches but because she heard how large my order was she was deliberately delaying assistance with my order. I understand being short staffed in a restaurant I have been there but I can not imagine any circumstance where I would have seen two people working on 1 ticket. That is poor management. I do not blame the young men working because they were just following orders but this was just totally not cool. I got the message you did not want my business that's cool and fine I just won't go anymore. I used to go there once every other week just to order a couple sandwiches and every time it's always a hassle but it's this time just felt really icky to me and that was kinda it. I ended up ordering the Philly cheese steak and she made a comment about putting the garlic aioli on her own, let me tell you it taste amazing! Great customer service and made my night. A good employee is hard to find these day and she is doing an amazing job đ. After my last couple of experiences I wasn't going to use this establishment but because of her great service I will be back. Thank you
Placed an order via the app on July 4th for pickup at 745. The app stated that the location was open until 8pm. I arrived and handwritten sign says closed 7pm. Apparently if you order with the app and even if you don't get to pick it up you still have to pay for it. What a joke! I work in a restaurant and our system is set up so that if we aren't open or if we close early then orders cannot be placed for the rest of the day. What a scam and then have the nerve to send me a survey asking if everything was great! Love to support local but that is the last time you will ever get a dime from me. Apparently, Lola who made my sandwich today couldnât be bothered at work to be kind, communicate clearly or hand an order over politely. Firstly she was upset when I asked the different kinds of bread, next she toasted my sub after I asked her not to, then she piled the vegetables on in a literal pile. Not kindly assembled. At this point I can tell sheâs treating ME poorly on purpose. I was a Sandwich Artist at one time, and her behavior/attitude was extremely RUDE.
