Amish bakery — Restaurant in Glasgow

The shop is great has lots of goodies and cute stuff. The baked goods are incredible we purchased the cinnamon roll, strawberry cheese cake bar, molasses cookies, apple dumpling and blackberry pie (we didn’t eat it all the same day we brought it back with us) but the burger I ordered was terrible and the fries were cold. I ordered and paid for bottled water and they had none so gave me a cup for fountain water that I was still charged for. I live in Australia and visit my friends in Kentucky , this store is ALWAYS on my travel agenda. We travel 2hrs just so I can visit. I absolutely love the food and bakery goods (apple, blackberry and peach turn overs. Oh and the donuts….) and bread. They also do the best hot chips (fries) in America. Get the chicken tenders basket and eat it with the gravy they give. Perfect. Best chicken and gravy we had in Kentucky. Avoid the steak sandwich. They literally just cooked a steak, no prep like cutting the fat, and slapped it between two pieces of bread. The steak tasted good but it was NOT a sandwich. Pulled pork was very simple, tasted fine.
