This was out first time eating here, it must have been the lost look on our faces but the ladies in the "kitchen" ushered us to the counter to order (menu is also on the counter). Everything is really cheap. We gave her our orders, grabbed cups for our drinks and sat down because we are eating in. Food was brought to us within about 8 minutes (yeah, i timed it). The food is tastey, they brought everything for us so we didnt even need to get up. All of our food was hot.
I like that you can see the kitchen, you can watch them make your meal. The food tastes good.
The coke tastes funny and is flat but it comes out of a fountain machine. I didnt drink mine. Only sipped because i didnt like it. My husband agreed with me on its weirdness but he got a diet coke and it tasted fine.
The service was friendly however they all look grumpy. That doesnt bother me since the service itself was fantastic.

I really enjoyed going there before the new ppl bought Annie's now they are rude all except maybe 1-2 of them (1 In Particularly) I went just yesterday idk y the food is tasteless but my husband wanted the meatloaf, I was respectful asking do you have anymore CHICKEN -- THE LADY PLATING OUR FOOD DIDN'T SAY YES WE DO OR ANYTHING LIKE WISE SHE BUGGED HER EYES OUT AT ME ANS SCREAMED ACROSS THE THING DO YOU HAVE ANOTHER ORDA I STARTED TO SAY TO HECK W THE PLATE YOU JUST MADE AND YOUR CHICKEN. An absolute gem of an establishment in Glasgow! This is definitely a place where regulars are plentiful, with the kitchen staff knowing many of the other clientele by name. We were just passing through, but it was a lovely environment to see!
As for the food, there’s not much that needs to be said. It was remarkable, plain and simple. Flavorful, large portions, with a small variety of daily dishes that you can’t possibly go wrong with. If they happen to have the chopped barbecue or chicken casserole when you stop by, make sure you order it.
