For all of the people complaining about customer service issues (rude/unhappy employees, long wait time, etc.) you need to keep into consideration that most of the workers are young adults and teenagers. They make $7.25 an hour. They are not payed enough to pander to your every whim.
I have personally worked here for a good amount of time (6-7 months) and I have seen the crew members change almost constantly. The low wages and rude/inconsiderate customers do not mix well and cause people to look for other jobs - myself included. I am going to focus on a few main points of complaints I have seen and respond to them.
The reason your wait may take a little longer than expected? Either someone messed up your order (when they put it in the system or when the pizza was being made if it was a custom)and they are fixing it, or the store is very busy and other people’s orders are before yours. You will get your food, just have some patience and don’t go off on the employee running the register or drive thru, it is not their fault. Be an adult and politely ask for the manager and KINDLY explain the situation and they will resolve it the quickest way they can.
There was a rude or unhappy employee? There is no excuse for a rude employee, unless you are rude to them first then they should not be rude to you. If the employee isn’t “happy and chipper” you may expect them to be; it is, once again, because they are not PAYED ENOUGH. $7.25 an hour is not enough for the level of stress that is put on the workers, especially not during rush times (which I’m sure is when most of the people complaining about long wait times go). At least 2 times a week there will be a customer throw something at a worker. Yes, THROW SOMETHING at a young adult/teenager. They are not payed enough to be happy and they are not treated well enough by customers to be happy.
The “Hot and Ready!” isn’t hot and ready? Then it’s probably because you came during or right after a big order/rush time. During rush time (5-7pm everyday) the customers are often taking the pizzas right as they come out of the oven, and the oven is tiny, only about 10 pizzas can be in it at one time. If everyone is ordering a classic pepperoni pizza, then I can guarantee you that people will have to wait up to 10-15 minutes depending on what else has been ordered. You are not the only person waiting for your order. There are online orders, phone orders, front counter orders and drive thru orders. They all share the same oven, which again is quite small and can only hold about 10 pizzas. And if someone calls in an order for 4 thin crust pizzas and 2 stuffed crust pizzas, that is 6 of the 10 slots used for just 1 order.
In conclusion, have some more patience if you go here, just like any fast food place (especially if they are busy!!!). And please, PLEASE, act like an adult: do not curse at or throw anything at the workers (it is assault and they will call the police on you). The crew is not payed enough to deal with your petty complaints, if you want to have it out with someone ask for a manager. At least they are payed a little more for it.
The 3 stars are for the people who try their best even while having to deal with these monsters of customers that expect everything perfect from someone making $7.25 an hour.
Pay your damn workers more money, they deal with insane people every day and deserve to be actually...
Read moreThis location is terrible. Ordered on the app and headed to the store to pick up. I get there and the doors are locked with a sign saying the lobby is closed. My order is in the pickup box up front but I cannot access it. I stand at the door for 10 minutes before an employee comes out to bring pizza to someone who ordered in the drive thru. I ask him about getting my order but he says he can’t let anyone in because there are only 3 people working (there were four in the store). I was polite and said my food was only 5 feet from me and I asked if I could get or if he could bring it out. He told me he couldn’t let anyone in and he couldn’t bring out online orders. He was very rude and argued with me when I questioned how many people he had working. Instead of being able to get my order quickly, I had to wait in a drive thru line that was wrapped around the building. What should have been a quick in and out pick up took over 30 minutes. No apologies were ever offered. When I asked his owners name he just said Mark and said he didn’t even know him. Just save your time and go somewhere else. I submitted complaints online and nothing was ever done so they obviously don’t care about...
Read moreGot off work was starving, already knew I wanted to deep dish something and there was a special online but they wouldn't honor it at the store which was fine I just said I'd pull over to the front of the store and decide what I wanted . So I came right back around to the drive-thru and ordered one of their deep dishes and they told me they were out of deep dishes ?? Now I know very well they were not out of deep dishes they just didn't want to make a deep dish because they close at 11:00 which it only takes them like 15 minutes to bake a pizza! This is what I cannot stand about today's work ethic, if you have a standard business hours then your door should remain open until that time and all your services should be available during those business hours. You don't refuse to make a deep dish pizza because you're going to close in an hour and you want to make sure that you're out of there right at closing time! A very big disappointment and I was starving! But don't feel bad Little Caesars because Pizza Hut said and did the same thing! But let me tell you who didn't let me down, DOMINOS PIZZA! Yay Domino's you go, that's what I'm talking about, I promise I'll never cheat...
