So I casually was craving pizza today, i happened to be with my sister. I worked all day I thought I could enjoy a slice of Sicilian pizza. No. My sister before ordering decided to tell me her previous experience when ordering for delivery and it served as a reminder for a call she had pending with them, alittle late but she thought she could resolve something no big deal. The call was about a Cobb salad priced ~$17, after tax 22 (delivery ), once the person showed up it ended up being $25, so she payed $30 w the tip. Which we thought was ridiculous Cobb salad average about 14, so that’s why maybe it wasn’t easily making sense. So the managers solution on the phone was basically to credit the Cobb salad instead of a $30 refund which he’s right about. I go in for my sister today right after the call, because the original plan for me was to order slices from the same place. Talked to one girl, apparently she doesn’t know what happens in the restaurant. So she got the manager over trying to credit a salad, the manager didn’t want to get scammed, apparently a salad is a serious matter so he had to have my sister physical there or call him up once again. I just think there is a huge lack of customer service. And all for a salad. Keep your salad. Such an inconvenience to go back and forth over a salad like it doesn’t expire and gets thrown away anyway. And to top it off they didn’t have Sicilian. And on my way to get my sister since I had left my phone in the car, i ended up canceling on the two slices I attempted to buy. And originally it is just about the change of prices that gave a bad impression. If your prices are high, get better...
Read moreI won’t 3 30 dollar gift cards at an event near rowan. I ordered 28 dollars worth of food. The cards all said no strings attached and nothing else. I was told I couldn’t use all 3. I could only use 1. I try to explain to the “manager” who didn’t actually want to have time for me that the cards don’t say that and I asked if it were worth the bad review. He kicked me out for “threatening a bad review”. I eventually got his attention back and his solution was to split the bill. But splitting the bill still had me spending money on food I had gift cards to cover. Eventually it ended with me leaving with only half my order and paying money out of my pocket. He told me it’s prob set up to keep me coming back, unfortunately no where in the “gift card” does it say it’s a coupon, and it actually says 10 dollar gift card no string attached. I’ve been going there for years, I won’t be back. The manager and the person working decided it was a better idea to throw away the food they already made just bc they can’t figure out that a 10 dollar gift card is a 10 dollar gift card regardless of what your POS system allows you to do. I also didn’t know the store was a cooperate spot. I...
Read moreI've been ordering from Cicconte's since I was in college, about ten years ago. Since then, the prices have doubled but the quality has decreased. We ordered two pizzas from your Glassboro location last weekend - $40 for a small Margarita pizza and a Large Pepperoni pizza.
The Margarita pizza had zero basil, the cheese was sliding off the crust and all over the box, and the tomato sauce? I took a bite and found half a peeled tomato, whole, in my bite. The pepperoni pizza had maybe 6-7 slices of pepperoni in total.
If you need to charge more because of inflation, the public understands, but this was pretty disappointing. Where do you get off charging so much for your food and it lacking so badly in quality? People are already struggling to eat out and order take out and the quality of such expensive pizza was quite bad.
Mind you, we ordered this pizza at 4PM. Unless there was some insane rush of 80 pizzas being made with ours, there was no excuse for...
