So I go to Starbucks everyday and get the same drink everyday this has to be the worst I’ve ever been to i go this location every Sunday for years and it gets worse and worse I will not be going there anymore because they can’t seam to make a simple double shot with two raw sugar two pumps vanilla with milk to the Second line i literally spelled it out For them and had to get it made Four times this morning when I told them it wasn’t made right the first time the girl in the drive-thru. Told the girl who made it and she said something sarcastic and asked me to pull up I told her I wasn’t going to pull up because is takes less than 60 seconds to make so the Manager comes to the window ask me to pull up I tell hem the same thing he goes over to make my drink keep in mind I can see them make my drink he come to the window I ask if he can put the vanilla in it he said he did I told him that I watched him make it and he didn’t so he goes over and puts like 5 pumps I told him I only wanted two he poured it out and with the same cup with the raw sugars still in the bottom he puts more sugar I don’t say anything to him at this point I was so puzzled that they cannot make such a simple drink and was thinking it might be ok but I was wrong as I pull off the manager planes out the window and said to the person behind me that she was being difficult And something else’s I will they had video and audio So the owner of the store could hear and see how unprofessional his manager was being I take my son home and I go back up there to get it made right because you know I spent my money on a cup of sugar it tasted like and I work hard for the 4$cup of coffee and to get something i Enjoy when it’s made “right” I guess they think I dumb as hell because he still didn’t put vanilla it was a clear liquid the vanilla has a yellow shade to it I have to tell him to put the sugar in it I knew at that point if I wanted to have what I wanted it wasn’t going to be from this Starbucks it’s sad that Starbucks money was wasted on all the remakes and that the people that work there could care less about how they make the Company they work for look so bad as a whole Starbucks is a big company and can afford to loose the ones who make their...
Read moreI'm not one for reviews, but I worked at Starbucks for years so this location makes for a fascinating case study in what NOT to do.
What finally prompted this today, was the barista with long blonde hair, who I watched quietly place drinks and food on the handoff counter like they were her own little secrets. Did not call out a single order, resulting in people grabbing other people's drinks and food (I actually observed a woman throwing away someone else's breakfast), and forced everyone to hover around the handoff counter, just staring and waiting. You're not a magician. You're not a barista at some upscale and hushed cafe. You're a barista at Starbucks and therefore somewhat of a cat herder. Call out the item loud and proud so we can swoop in, get our stuff, and get out of your way.
When I asked if they stopped calling out orders, the barista looked at me like I had five heads and said "Not when we're busy..." with a 'like, duh!' expression.
WHAT?! Hahahahah. "Not when we're busy." You'd have thought I demanded her to pull it out of a hat or make up an accompanying song and dance that is in spirit with the item being announced. You don't need to dust off your trumpet hon', just use your words and don't be shy.
So not only do they not know how to do their jobs, they'll staunchly defend their right to do (or not do) so.
Long story short, nobody at this location has any sense. Do your blood pressure a favor and go to a...
Read moreThis Starbucks store is my favorite because of the people here so nice, Rachel, Lilian, Victoria, Nicole. This Starbucks is on my way to my work. Coffee is the same in every Starbucks store but people make the difference. I get my morning coffee everyday from here on my to my work. I order 15-20 minutes in advance. Usually my coffee is ready. If not the people know me they say “hi Dave how are you” and give my coffee” This morning I was waiting and asked a person right in the front ( Kayla)making coffee about my online order. Her reply was “ we will give it to you when it’s ready”. At first I didn’t realize what she was saying because no one in this store talks to customers that way. So I said it’s being 20 minutes I will get late for my work. Kayla’s response was “you will get it when it’s ready”. Another person gave me my coffee. I told Kayla I get my morning coffee from here every day and I left. Honestly I am thinking there is a local coffee store near my work I’ll get my coffee from there instead. Cannot get late to my work for a cup of...
