This place...geez. I love the food here, but whenever a district manager is in here, this place is a 5 star fast food. However, last night when I was there, about an hour before they close, 6 employees, including the manager where sitting out in the dining area, in four different groups. One manager was out at a table by herself, doing paper work and wearing the drive thru headset, still taking orders, while doing daily paper work. One lone employee sitting with Bojangles training material, studying. 2 female employees eating and laughing and talking at the top of their lungs. 2 Male employees sitting and eating and talking. Every single table top was filthy. The person that took my order was great, as was the food. Maybe the company policy should be if you are on break or hanging out and eating after your shift, either don't eat in your uniform (customers have no idea if these are just rude employees or if you are on break). I see this same issue in a couple of units in this local franchise. I saw a District Manager in this location and one in Mechanisville and the few days he was there, the place was running at their A Game, it felt like what you want in a fast food place. Within a day or two of his departure, back to the C team, it was a major difference. The food generally is so good, the accuracy about 80% and service about 60% consistency. Read morePlaced my lunch order at the drive thru which was pretty quick. They didn’t repeat my order to ensure accuracy which isn’t that big of a deal. What is a big deal is the female worker at the second window who takes payment and hands off the order- rude. She took my payment with an attitude, hands me my bag and says nothing. I checked the bag real quick since my order wasn’t repeated when placing initially. My drink was forgotten but she shut the window so fast I couldn’t say anything, so I sat waiting until she opened the window staring at me- saying nothing. At that point I let her know my drink was forgotten and she again said nothing- fixed it and handed it out the window. Mind you it was pouring down raining and I’m sure as much as she hates getting wet so does the paying customer waiting for decent customer service. This is thing, Customer service isn’t for everyone…it’s not that hard to day thank you or have a nice day. Read moreReally like the barbecue and the chicken the problem is they don't put much barbecue on the sandwich. Every time I go I say I'm not coming back. They have the slowest service even if you are the only one in line. I went 2 days ago and one car in front of me and no one inside at the counter and it took me 15 min to get my order and when I parked and opened my barbecue sandwich it literally had barbecue on half the sandwich that wouldn't have covered the bread if you would have spread it out. I don't understand why it's like this all the time. The employees walk around like they have used ever once of energy they have trying to get to work. If I was the manager I would get rid of three fourths their help and start fresh but it doesn't seem to bother them.
