My friend was picking up sushi for his family and went to the wrong place. It happened to be this one. He picked me up one day and told me he accidentally found this amazing sushi place and I was all for it. When I tried Asian Fusion with him for the first time, it’s become my go to for sushi since. I order with my girlfriend, my family—you name it! The food is much more authentic and tasteful than any other local sushi spots I’ve been to. Furthermore, I also have a stomach problem called Gastroparesis and every time I eat sushi at other places, my stomach does not react very well. Wow! The fish is so fresh, and buttery, comparable to omakase without the price tag.

I usually don’t order sushi in the summer considering the heat, but this spot has such high quality fish that I’ve ordered 4 times this week in 98 degree weather.

The salmon pieces melt in your mouth, I dream of them. The tamago is perfectly done, tender, and not too sweet.

The Triple Alliance roll was my favorite. The salmon was perfectly balanced with a bit of spice, sweet eel sauce, & refreshing mango.

Saddle River roll and spicy salmon rolls were also delightful, but a bit too much crunch for my taste.

In my opinion, the dressing that came with the garden salad, not that anyone gets sushi for the salad, needed a bit more ginger and sweetness.

Just moved to the area so I'm looking for a sushi place I can order from weekly. Decided to give this place a try today for lunch but I was little disappointed. I placed an order online for 2 sushi lunch specials but got a call that 2 of the 3 rolls I ordered would incur an extra charge. Ok, understandable. But what doesn't make sense is that they want to charge me $3 extra for spicy scallop roll (normally costs $7.50) when shrimp tempura roll which is $6.95 is included. So shouldn't I be charged $0.55 (7.50-6.95) instead for the difference? Why $3? MANAGEMENT if you see this, make it make sense to me.
