Excellent service! The food was good. Highly recommend, no trap music please.
9 year vegans that love Thai food, and bustling flavors.
We were in the Glendale area with our family and found this little Thai spot not too far from where we were staying.
We got there just before closing, but they still welcomed us and took our order with no problem, which we really appreciated.
We ordered the Penang curry, pad see ew (both made vegan), and the fried tofu, requested with peanut sauce, and they happily accommodated everything.
The food was really tasty. The flavors were rich and felt very authentic. My husband especially loved the curry, and our kids devoured the noodles.
The portions were generous, we actually had to ask for more rice because there was so much curry! And even with all five of us eating (two adults and three kids), we still had leftovers to take home.
No drinks or extras, and the whole meal came out to around $44, which felt totally worth it considering the quality and how much food we got.
It’s a small, cozy spot, and honestly, I don’t know why some of the other reviews were mixed because we had a great experience.
To the owner: one slight improvement to make the atmosphere better - no trap music please. The music and lyrics set things off for us but didn't take away from the great food and customer service.
Would definitely recommend and happily give this...
Read moreMy husband has already given a review of this restaurant on his Google, but I feel that they need another five stars. My husband decided to treat me to Thai food, which is my favorite! However, my favorite restaurant (till now) is on 19th Ave and Northern. Quite a drive from where we live now. Their service was absolutely perfect. They were courteous, delightful and they went out of their way to see to our needs. My husband did not follow the number one rule of thumb when going to a new Thai restaurant. Although he didn't know the number one rule though, he ordered his dish of Pad Thai at a higher number. Once it was received, he was unable to eat it. It was quite funny. The waitress however was gracious enough to return it to the chef and have him or her tone down the meal so that he was able to eat it. I on the other hand ordered my Yellow Chicken Curry at a one, knowing that I did not know what their heat levels would be. It was a wise decision, Sala has some heat to it. So if you like spicy, this is the place to go. Also, if you like AWESOME this is the place to go. Because not only was the service wonderful, the food was wonderful as well. They made us feel at home, like we were dining at the house, but with a personal chef. They treated us like they knew us, like we'd been coming there for Years. We will definitely...
Read moreUpdate : First came 8 months ago and we went once a month, we have not been about 2 months and we are beyond disappointed the food and quality has gone down drastically. You now get soup filled with onion and garnished with seafood pieces. Pay attention to what is supposed to come in your item you order because they no longer seem to know their own menu. Food was soggy and gross. We wont come back. It was so sad to see a place take such a dissapointing turn when they use to be good.
Huge change from my fist review which was........
