Mariscos Vuelve A La Vida Restaurant — Restaurant in Glendale

Food was great, I ordered ceviche which satisfied my craving ! Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because my waitress was very unattentive. I arrived about 2 hours before closing so there was only my party which consisted of two people and another party which might have been about 8 people. My waitress was more worried about cleaning and getting ready for closing than anything else, I had to look for her and wave her down multiple times. When we were finally getting ready to leave I asked for to go boxes, she brought 1 to go box and a to go cup but when I asked for an extra box she told me no she will get me a bag for my tostadas which was okay but when I went to ask for another to go box (they were tiny, and I chose to put my ceviche in a box instead of a cup) she looked at me as if I was stupid and stood there without saying a word for a good 5 seconds. She came back took the cup from me , put it on another table moved 1 dirty plate to another table and left without taking the card( even though it was at the edge of the table) , so yet again we had to wait for her to look our way and wave her down for her to take payemnt and when she finally did and came back with the card she waited for the tip to be written down and walk away then turned around and said " oh have a good night" seeming very...

The girls here kind of act funny if you don't speak Spanish but that is ok by me as long as I get my food and michelada lol, I play the game! The place could use better waitresses that are bilingual, friendlier and provide faster service. The tables looked like they were made of flagstone but has a light gloss, when the light hit you could see it wasn't wiped clean.

The food took about thirty mins to come out I ordered toritos a bacon wrapped yellow pepper stuffed with cream cheese and shrimp. I wasn't disappointed, could only eat three with my beer got full.

The michelada took like ten minutes the person at the bar wasn't even busy yet they had to be told twice to make my michelada WoW!

Besides that it's my neighborhood mariscos choice for now. Still wish the owner would take my revoww in consideration, service and timing is everything these days especially during a time like now where people don't have the extra funds to dine out. So we can tend to be choosy .... Have cleaner table options, bilingual new waitresses and try to tell the girls to strive for faster...

Seating: confused employees told me to sit anywhere and then another came up saying to sit ourselves, but followed us with menus.

To get an appetizer: we waited 20 minutes and then had to wave a server over to get our order. But there was a group of people seated maybe 10 minutes after us that got their drinks and chips right away. Also had their order taken before us.

So they finally gave us chips after I waved them down to get our order in. Our waiter only took our order, she didn't give us our food and also didn't check up on us. After finishing our chips we were wondering where the drinks were. But it took until we got our appetizer to get the drinks and also a few minutes after we got our meals. Sad they didn't ask if we needed refills on our drinks. Oh yeah and our waiter finally came back after someone else gave us our meal and asked if we were doing ok.

After that we had to wave them over to pay, and she took us to the register and had us pay there. No tip because of the service and unfriendliness. I usually...
