This place rocks!
It’s open from 10 AM to 10 PM Inside seating is limited, but tons of outdoor seats and tables available.
This is a charbroil, Mexican Restaurant The food has tons of flavor because of this. If there’s a downside, they don’t seem to have the regular green chili burrito type of stuff. So it’s a little bit different menu than what you might be used to.
I get the quesadilla with Cheese flour, tortilla and El Pastor meat. It’s a little bit oily but nothing a few napkins. Can’t sop up.
The salsa bar is exceptionally good with at least four types of salsa, one being green, the others different levels of heat that are red. Along with cucumbers, limes, and all that you would expect from a great salsa bar.
If you’re looking for takeout, they give you a large Styrofoam box to put all your condiments in.
They also have Char broiled jalapeños which are nice and soft and exceptionally good. They are up at the counter not at the salsa bar. If they are out and you let them know they’ll refill it quickly.
They have a great selection of bottled sodas
This is my weekly go to place from now on.
My daughter just came into town. I took her here because they don’t have good Mexican food in Oklahoma. She ate Mexican food quite a few times, while she was here and said this place was her favorite.
You have to drive into the heart of Glendale to get to this place but it’s well worth the drive that is unless you’re lucky enough to live close by.
Please take my advice and do yourself a favor and visit the Ta’Carbon...
Read moreThank you for reading the Honest Reviews4U! The restaurant is family friendly with options to eat indoors or outdoors. I really recommend eating in the outdoor area since indoors can get very packed/full. They have a salad area and I would recommend the avocado salad is very good. The food is amazing with I really enjoy eating a gringa is a type of cheese quesadilla but million times better. You can order it with beef or pork meat either way they are delicious. I'm a big 6'2 guy and after eating a gringa with horchata (type of rice drink) I became full. The drinks include agua fresca (fresh water) example the rice drink, to soda on a classic glass bottle and beer. If you're into tacos I recommend to try some Lorenza they are delicious with a hard tortilla. The place is always full meaning the food will always be fresh and the wait it worth it. The service is very friendly and quick to move the line forward. The location is also clean both outside and inside even the restrooms are clean. You can also take the food to go just make sure the employee knows. I highly recommend...
Read moreI came in 15 min after opening on a Saturday and it was already packed inside. Ordered un plato mixto (carne asada and al pastor) which comes with 5 tortillas (corn or flour, your choice) and beans, you can get salsas for free. A plato basically got 5 tacos for $9.
The meat is actually grilled in house and it SHOWS with how delicious it is!
If you want tacos in Phoenix, or the West Valley in general, I can't stress this enough,👏 THIS IS IT! 👏
If you come from up north like I did, they say that a new location on 67th and Peoria should be open in about 2 or 3 months. Keep your eyes peeled👀
EDIT: Made a second visit a week later. There was a (not too long) line out the door at opening time (12pm) on Sunday. Service is still fast in spite of all of that. It helps that they are smoking meat AS they are opening. I would say my top three meats are Asada, Pastor, and Tripa for they all have that great smokey, savoury taste. So by extension, mixto and campechano are probably the best choices here. If you want barbacoa or cabeza you should ask for...
