Peter Piper Pizza — Restaurant in Glendale

I went in May 8 2024 around 7:50 with my family for dinner for my sons and daughters birthday we were about 8 members I had ordered 2 xl wings and 5 pizzas plus 5 play cards spent about 260 total when i got there i was told they closed at 9 by the cashier Joel i understood they would box my food but we had to be out by 9 i said ok either way my kids played the 30 mins while we wait we sang happy birthday just to be interrupted by the manager cecilia who came over to my table with attitude just to let u guys know we close at 9 at this time it was 8:10 i said ok than she said again u guys have to be out in 45 mins i said ok and again she gave me attitude and said meaning ur pizza will be ready in 30 mins and u guys have to go yelling at me like if i didn’t understand the first second or third time yet a party of 6 was right across from me enjoying their dinner and cx in line ready to order my husband than replied the faster u make our food the faster we get out of here food than 15 mins later we get our food order was wrong they had to remake it she had attitude at this point joel took over and apologized remade it and brought it out we ate n left before 8:50 and about 8:40 she still had a couple come in to place an order no one else was embarrassed as i was or told she was closing just because i had my kids she made it a big deal and turned of the games by 8:45 i have never been somewhere to be treated like that I always go to 7th ave and osborn Peter piper and let me tell you they have had cx later than that and never once have i seen them act or kick anyone out instead they’ll start encourging everyone in general through there mic and even than lock up after their last cx as a manager in retail myself i was just like i can’t believe ur cashier had more respect and was able to deescalate the situation better than ur superior if it wasn’t for joel i would have been out of content and disrespectful my damn self to give back the nasty...

I was very impressed by the person at the door taking temperatures and handing out hand sanitizer, but was quickly discouraged when I saw that mostly everyone (mainly the kids) were running around without masks. Their sign outside isn't enforcing masks to be worn, just highly recommended, which is disappointing. You'd think with the pandemic and the nature of this kind of business they would enforce masks (except when eating of course). They did have spaced out seating, which was a plus I guess, but didn't see much of any kind of cleaning on the machines.

Apart from that, we went on Halloween to get their special which was a Jack-o'-lantern Pizza and Spider web dessert pizza. We were expecting a long wait. We had waited for about 50 minutes. We would continue to see people come and go and pick up orders. Which I understand that people must have placed pick up orders in advance. Although, we started noticing people come in and order food at the front, just as we had, and they were leaving with their food before we did (and they had more food than us). We patiently waited, but after a while I asked when they think our food might be out. To which they couldnt find our receipt in the line up of orders that they have infront of them. After much confusion they came back and said that they had found my order in the back. Then proceeded to give us attitude about asking about our order. They told us that those people had online orders, even though we clearly saw them order at the front just like we had. Whatever the case may be, I feel bad for how stressed they all looked. I feel like they should have had more staff for the amount of traffic that came in. But I don't personally feel safe at this location because of...

I love myself some pizza from time to time. I love going into a buffet and having many options to choose from. I mean that's the whole point of a Buffet, correct? Anyway, we order a few buffets, drinks and start to line up for pizza. The Mac and cheese they had here was extremely runny. They only had 2 types of salad, the cranberry mandarin one and the Caesar salad but no garden. The ONLY pizzas they had were ALL pepperoni. Oh and one pepperoni with jalapenos. Not a selection to choose from. Not even a simple cheese pizza. The wait was FOREVER before they made more. The pizza trays sat with one or two slices on them. It wasn't great at all. I've had better .. THIS PLACE HAS REALLY IMPROVED SINCE THIS LAST POST👆🏼 ABOVE. Much better selection with a variety of pizzas to choose from. Very friendly staff and they kept those pizzas hot and fresh considering they had made a huge order for some gathering or some company.
