Streets of NY (and specifically this location) used to be our favorite of the locations.
We have been customers for MANY years.
Over the last few years, this place has gone downhill.
Prices have gone up. Food quality has gone down.
The service is pratically non-existent.
The wait staff is usually rude, careless, and not good at their job. We have been there when they're dead and the only people there, and been there on the rare busy times. It makes no difference. Service is terrible.
The food is definitely subpar compared to how it used to be. I'm a big pizza guy. They used to make the best (IMO) pizza in town. Now, it's perhaps a little better than other big chains. It's not the amazing pizza it used to be. The toppings amount you get on a pizza is a JOKE now. For the prices you pay, just absurd.
Their appetizers are grossly overpriced, and you get less than you used to as well.
They've also changed some of the recipes and aren't as good either.
Namely, their spinach artichoke dip. It's a greasy mess and more expensive than it used to be, for half the amount!
The "management" could not care less about their customers. When an order gets messed up, you don't even get apologies, and all you'll get is excuses as to "why" it's not their fault that something wasn't right. The last time we were in, they tried to give me pushback on fixing a dish they messed up three times. Not good customer service.
Another awesome chain circling the drain because of poor service, poor quality, and rising prices... it's a real shame.
If you write the company directly to complain, you'll never get a response.
Please hire better people and get new management in there. This place needs an overhaul if it's going to stay in business.

Read moreI always try to give a new restaurant we haven't tried yet or for awhile, but I do want to make sure management knows about shortcomings and feedback.
For our Delivery order of baked New York chicken wings from I assumed I would be getting Buffalo (as in, Buffalo, New York) Sauce on my wings. The original Native New Yorker (now Native Grill & Wings) had the true Buffalo Sauce which started me on my wing fascination doesn't even have the same Buffalo sauce. While I don't mind wings of different flavors, when a company offering wings from NY offers something far from Buffalo sauce it is always a major disappointment. The cups of ranch were also very small for a dozen wings, it should be at least 50-100% larger for that size order. They also don't come with any celery or carrot slices, which most other restaurants offer.
My other family members had chicken strips, lasagna and philly cheesesteak sandwich and were happy with those.
We also ordered Bruschetta which was fairly good, but the bread offered with the minimal amount of tomatoes/mix was also another ratio of roughly 1/2 what was needed. There was a good amount of bread, but unless you had a single diced tomato with a large piece of bread it wasn't nearly enough.
The worst part of the dinner we ordered is that we ordered the 4 Peaks Beer Cheese appetizer, which was supposed to come with bread, but we never received any! We tried the leftover Bruschetta bread but it wasn't a good match with the Beer Cheese, so we had to resort to Tostito's tortilla chips to make use...
Read moreWe LOVE Streets of NY, this location in particular! The #7 is the most delicious sandwich served by absolutely fantastic staff in the best family friendly restaurant in the entire valley, WITHOUT A DOUBT! We are a military family so we had to move away from our “home”/Glendale about 7 years ago. We make the trip back to visit our loved ones a couple of times a year and every single time we are deciding where to go for lunch or dinner my husband requests our favorite restaurant of over 20 years, the Streets of NY on 67th Ave and Deer Valley specifically so he can enjoy The Best of Everything as many times as possible during our stay. He’s even tried to work out if there’s a way to have a family member purchase several of the sandwiches, pack them up in a way that will keep them cool to avoid spoilage, then ship them to us all the way in NC. I can’t say I blame him, they really ARE delicious (however, all of that is a bit overboard; thankfully he hasn’t put that crazy “plan” into action thus far ha!)
They also have wonderful pizza, pasta, boneless wings, and the bread with marinara served as you wait for your dinner is like crack. However, even after trying several other dishes we always find ourselves going back to the original The Best of Everything; it really is “the best”! Do yourself a favor and check out this Streets and give the #7 with chips a shot. You won’t be...
