Dairy Queen of Godley — Restaurant in Godley

Went to dairy Queen tonight on the first day of the year. My husband ordered the entree of a taco salad beef two of them. They are supposed to be $5.99 but was Ring up as $7.99. when I went up to the front to show them that the app said 599 the worker I'm not sure what her name was said it was false advertisement . So I asked to speak to the manager. Her name is Rebecca that I found out. She was nice to me she made sure that I got our stuff or money back on what we didn't order and she just kind of laughed it off whenever I told her about what her employee said and she did her job she knows how to handle customers the worker on the other hand does not. Then my husband goes up there and orders a banana split. That didn't go over so well it was melted by the time he got to it and he there wasn't that many people in there some people came in after us but that was after us the worker that's working up there she's a little black girl she needs to start listening to people's orders. Or find another job because she's not doing hers. I go to dairy Queen about twice a day and I have no problem writing critics right back this is what I love to do but to the manager on staff at the moment thank you very much for your patience and your time and for helping us to receive what money we was...

While the food is very good, my only issue is. We looked up the menu online before going there. And we discovered the prices online are inaccurate. We brought this up to them while ordering, they said. Oh, you have the wrong location. We show them the right location and the prices online. And they said, ha ha, how funny? Well, that's not to price in surprises are what's on the billboard. And I we ordered anyway, and they showed a total lack of interest over themisprincing. That's why we decided to lower the star points. Either honor your online prices or correct them. Don't just laugh about it after someone has driven a distance to try your place out because draig queen isn't in their area. Not a good first impression...

I was coming from my daughters in Joshua on my way home to Olden. It's an hour and a half trip so I stopped to get something to eat. I ordered a 4 piece steak finger basket. Which I love I should have know when I was handed my food within 2 min of paying. I waited till I got on the road safely before starting to eat. The fries had to have been sitting a while and the steak fingers were barely warm. So I know my meal wasn't cooked after I ordered it. I don't mind waiting a few min for fresh food. That's why I don't go to Mc Donald's where food is microwaved. So I was very disappointed to say the least. They definetly need to do better and not give people a meal someone else didn't pick up...
