Last night’s experience, topped off by a disconnected phone call today, was the final straw. I took three of my kids (ages 4-10) and ordered shakes, a burger, fries, and chicken strips via the app. After waiting 10 minutes, they started making the shakes and stored them in a freezer while we waited another 10 minutes for the food. When I pressed for our order, they handed over the shakes to appease us, but the kids needed their meal, not just dessert. At 6:57 PM, after a 40-minute wait, I requested a partial refund, explaining that one of my children had surgery the next morning and needed to get home. The staff refused, directing me to use the app for a refund, which isn’t possible. They said to call back the next day. By 7:00 PM, the $36 order was finally bagged and ready. Today, post-surgery, I called at 7:38 PM to discuss the issue with the manager, but the line went dead mid-conversation. I’m unsure if it was intentional, but no one called back. I’m done with Godley Sonic and will take my business elsewhere—it’s not worth the hassle. This was the first time they couldn’t resolve an issue, but prior problems should’ve pushed me away sooner. Orders are frequently incorrect, requiring follow-up calls after getting home. Last night, there was noticeable bickering and miscommunication among staff, and several customers waited excessively for online orders while the drive-thru ran smoothly. Read moreSo I went to this Sonic , 1st I ordered a kids meal the girl that took my order asked me if I wanted a toy included obviously the kids meal comes with toys (the promotion says toy included ) I ordered another kids meal & they didn’t have chicken tenders , she asked me if it was okay if she gave me Chicken bites & still asked me if I wanted a toy included . I pull up to the window & they charged me , the lady that charged me didn’t even give me the change right … the receipt said 11 something with change … this girl gives me 6 something instead .. then I check my order since they were already messing up since the beginning , so I just wanted to make sure it was right… They forgot to give me a toy for the so called kids meal , so I let them know & you can tell it bothered her that I asked for the other toy … they so called toy for the kids meal was a plastic spoon . Theres like 6 or more ladies in that kitchen & I only seen one lady running up & down doing all the orders while the other ladies were all standing with their arms crossed . I have worked with costumer service for 10 yrs & let me tell you , their costumer service is the worst . I like to give good reviews , but honestly this place is not worth going to .
