Updating my review to a one star since the owner still cannot respond in a professional manner. You shouldn’t feel like you need to defend your business if you are doing the right thing. Becoming defensive on feedback just shows a lack of maturity and professionalism. Maybe higher someone that can respond to social media with a level head and provide your customers with a professional response. I hope you can grow from this if not I don’t see this place being successful for years to come. We’ve gone here for donuts several mornings and sometimes the workers are nice other times they just seem like they are annoyed you are there. I came to look at the reviews today because we have NEVER received hot fresh donuts anytime we have gone in it seems like they have been sitting in the case for hours everytime. It seems other people are having similar issues but I also am seeing how rude the owner is at responding to negative reviews it seems as though a teenager is responding not a professional business owner. This has only made me decide to take our business elsewhere from here on out I just cannot support a business that is so rude to their customers when they voice their concerns. This should be taken as a way to better your business not put down on other that are giving honest feedback. There has also been multiple times I’ve visited and the floor where disgusting as if they hadn’t been cleaned in days, boxes of random items stacked against the wall in the dining area and the last time I went I couldn’t help but notice the significant water damage on majority of the ceiling tiles. This makes me wonder how clean and well kept the kitchen is if the dining area is neglected. I hope you will take this as some constructive feedback instead of responding so negatively to your customers who are just trying to be...
Read moreQuack quack! Gosh, I waddled into Glazed and Confused the other day, and boy, oh boy, was it a treat! Five stars all the way! This bakery and coffee shop’s got charm that’d make even Uncle Scrooge smile. The moment I stepped in, the smell of fresh pastries hit me like a feather-filled pillow—pure heaven! Their coffee’s so good it could wake up Sleepy from the Seven Dwarfs, but lemme tell ya ‘bout their humongous apple fritter. It’s bigger than my tail feathers, crispy on the outside, soft and gooey inside, with just the right apple-cinnamon zing. One bite, and I was quackin’ with joy! The staff? Friendlier than Goofy on a good day. If you’re near Glazed and Confused, don’t be a daffy duck—get in there and grab that fritter!...
Read moreJust not it. Service/experience was off putting. Seemed short or disinterested in being there. It’s a donut shop! We are used to friendly greetings and happy to help service in finding and trying delicious doughy treats. But each time we’ve gone it’s rough. Short and attitude in every interaction. Not sure what’s the damage. But we’ll have to continue our search for the best donut in town or at least nearest to us. Sucks because we love supporting local small businesses and seeing how this is basically Godley’s donut shop we tried to give them a few more tries. But donuts are mediocre and sausage rolls are dense and a bit dry. 10/10 not...
