First timers here! I will start off by saying, I really would like to give Nadeau's another try in the future but my first visit was not as great as I had hoped. This week I brought my family here to eat for the first time ever. We pulled up and entered through the front door, not knowing the main entrance was in the back? Anyhow, we walked in and the entire section of the restaurant we walked in from was closed off by highchairs and a wet floor sign. So we had to make our way past those just to get in to the side to order. So right from the beginning it was not really welcoming. I want to be understanding to the situation because perhaps they don't have enough staff to clean all the tables, I'm not sure but maybe put a sign saying use back door if patrons shouldn't be on that side. The side that was available was full so I asked about seating and I was told there was seating by the back door downstairs. Fine. We ordered an array of items including a BLT, a steak and cheese, kids chicken chunks, a Greek salad and a meatball sub with light sauce. Unfortunately for me, I received a Harvest Salad instead. I thought maybe Nadeau's was just trying to put a spin on things, as it did contain Feta cheese, but it was not until after I left that I read the menu online and realized I was given a Harvest Salad. The lettuce also did not taste or looked like it had been washed. My meatball sub, I requested light sauce on and it was loaded with sauce. The meatballs were warm but not hot. I took more sauce off the sub than there were meatballs. I did confirm on my receipt that light sauce was requested. The chicken chunks for my child's meal were definitely hot and cooked in fresh oil so I can appreciate that. But upon breaking up the chicken for her, more than half the pieces of chicken were fatty chunks. Read moreFirst time ordering online. Horrible experience. I ordered a steak tip sub and there was no option for extra cheese that I saw. It said if you have any issues call the restaurant, so I did. They were not very helpful and told me that they could not help bc a piece of cheese cost extra. (Which I was willing to pay) So I found an edit order button and it brought me to customer service which I guess is DoorDash and they were unhelpful also. But they said that I could cancel the order and re-order it so I called the restaurant and asked them where the extra cheese option was and that I was going to cancel my order and re-order it. The restaurant said that I would be charged anyway and they did not tell me where the extra cheese option was. Long story short I did not cancel my order and when I got my sandwich it was not only soggy it was left on my doorstep which I specifically stated in the address part to call me when they got here due to my building being secure, also checked the hand deliver option not leave at door. I have ordered here in the past and the food was good. (But I have always gone inside for pick up) I feel like maybe it was a different cook I don’t know. But that experience was not at all what I expected for my first time ordering online. Plus I paid over $31 for a steak and cheese with only mayo and a small seasoned fry. Which was $19 so I paid $11 for ordering site who uses DoorDash and was not helpful. (Meanwhile I live 0.8 miles from the restaurant) NEVER AGAIN

Read moreI tried talking to the manager of the Mast Rd location because the prices on the website are more than what DoorDash has on theirs, and I wanted to be sure I didn't short-change the restaurant. After telling me I was "on the wrong website" (I wasn't), he proceeded to tell me rudely that "I'm busy. It's dinnertime, and I don't have time to talk to you right now." I would've been happy to place a phone order to ensure the right price was charged, but this guy didn't even give me the opportunity! Worst customer service ever! Someone that stressed probably shouldn't be a manager.
EDIT: It's been over 30 days. I sent an email to Mr. Nadeau the next day as he requested (and I responded to Nadeau's Facebook page as requested there), but have received ZERO response. As a matter of fact, my comment on their Facebook page was deleted the same day -- down the memory hole it went. (Makes me wonder how many other bad reviews have disappeared...) I had hopes from the owners' public responses that they would at least communicate -- and maybe try to make things right?? -- but nope. They completely removed my opportunity to come back to let people know that they handled things well. It looks like it was all for show. It's too bad since I realize (and said so!) that everyone has a bad day. It floors me what people consider "customer service" nowadays. Don't like bad reviews on social media?? Then treat people like you actually WANT...
