10/2023 Update: Still the best chips, salsa, Margheritas, Taquitos, etc. that we've had in WA State! Period!!

Thank goodness Maggy's is finally open (for us, anyway). No liquor, yet (soon), but Virgin Margherita is really good. We saw a few people leave on news of no liquor...big mistake, IMHO. Chips are thick, homemade, and really good. Even the chips that looked a little too dark were some of the best ever! Taquitos are best ever! We went back a 2nd day in a row, based on the Taquitos alone. Wife's chicken "..Bowl" was excellent, and leftovers fed us 2 more times. My Chicken Mole Poblano was a little "different" - i.e., sauce not as dark brown as I'm used to, but still very good flavor. Also, sauce "made" me eat all the rice (with sauce), which I usually don't eat at all. Note: me eating all the rice, and no tortillas, with the sauce was previously unheard of. 😉🙂 I also preferred Maggy's small lettuce salad on the plate, over conventional (?) cabbage. (maybe not authentic Mexican (?), but I liked it a lot!)

Can't wait to try more menu items next time in this area.

All staff are very nice!

Update 10/23/22: Came through Goldbar too early for Dinner, but couldn't leave Goldbar without stopping here...this time for Lunch. Wife's Chipotle Chicken was fantastic, even though almost no pepper heat. Wonderful sauce. I was prepared to be disappointed in my Pork tomal, as I'm not used to sauce on my tomals. Yikes! Best tomal, ever!! Again, best chips & salsa we've had anywhere!

Ok, I'm just going to say it: Best Mexican restaurant we've been to in WA...

Finally had a chance to eat at Maggy's tonight. Friday January 14th, 2022. Meh.

Place was busy! I didnt expect to be sitting so close to other customers while eating, however. Was a bit uncomfortable for me. Service was good and very friendly but a bit on the slow side due to the number of customers in the building. Booths and tables are very close together due to the small establishment. The back of my chair was literally touching the back of the chair behind me. Had a hard time getting in and out of my seat.

Best part for me was the deep-fried chips and salsa that wasn't so spicey that my girlfriend could actually eat it. It was VERY good!! Ate two full bowls of chips and probably 4 or 5 bowls of salsa! Ordered the Chimichanga for dinner, both my girlfriend and I. Was ok. Seemed a bit soggy and doughy rather than crispy. I had heard good things about portion size from people online as well as from the guy sitting behind us at the next table when his plate arrived, haha! But when our Chimichangas arrived I was very surprised to see how small they were. I guess i was under the impression they would be near the size of the standard burrito you get at most Mexican places. It was about half that. Other than that was a small scoop of rice, some beans, shredded lettuce and two small scoops of guacamole and sour cream. Food tasted alright but I was more glad I loaded up on free chips and salsa ahead of time.

Congrats on the opening and best of luck, as I wish for all new start up businesses, but we probably wont be going back...

I called in a to go order. A Mexican speaking man answered. I ordered a Borito. He said it comes with sour cream, guacamole and picodegillo with sauce on outside and meat , rice and beans inside. So I pick it up and I always check before I leave to make sure it's the right thing. It doesn't have guacamole or sour cream. I show the man and he said it's there and he's pointing to the unmelted shredded white cheese on top and he's saying that that is the cream. He's also saying that there is guacamole. You can see in the pic that there isnt any on it. But he kept arguing with me and almost touching my food with his finger. I ask again to please have a side of sour cream at least and he finaly goes back to get me sourcream. He's loudly complaining about me to his staff that I'm wrong and he's right. If their idea is liquified gauc and sour cream that's naked to the eye, there crazy. No it wasn't inside either. I didn't even get tortilla chips . This has happened before with the same man. He doesn't see reason and likes to argue and has really poor customer service. The food is mediocre. I won't be back because it's false advertisement and...

Maggy's has been open for just over 6 months and this was our first visit and we were not at all disappointed. We were greeted by very friendly and courteous staff and seated and cared for immediately. The restaurant is small, but puts out big flavor. We started with guacamole and grilled Mexican corn - amazing, especially when paired with their homemade chips and salsa. I asked the waiter for his recommendation, and he steered me to the Carne Asada, which was one of the best I have had. My wife chose the Veggie Enchiladas which were also amazing. Overall the experience was overwhelmingly great and we can't wait to go back.
