I attended as a party of 3 at 1pm on a Sunday as we were driving back from Baring to Seattle. There were multiple open tables when we entered and we didn’t have to wait to sit so that was initially encouraging. However, this did not mean it would be a quick meal.

It took over an hour from ordering from us to recieve our food. After an exhausting morning hike, this was a bit frustrating as I could only think about the magical food I had ordered and its imminent consumption. a turnstile of delicious pies taunted us as waited, and while I considered ordering one while we waited, I had no idea of when the entrees would arrive. I asked a worker when he thought the food would arrive about 45 minutes in. he replied he was also waiting on his food and he did not know. This seemed like a somewhat odd response. I held off on the pie then because I felt I should eat my nutritious food first.

It was delicious when it finally arrived! I had ordered the Philly with no onions, but onions were present. I chose not to say anything because I did not want to wait longer.

We were also told because it was a Sunday there was no soup or salad. The sign outside boasted of homemade soup so this was also a bit disappointing.

Moral of the story: if you have time to spare and are okay with potentially waiting up to an hour to eat, go for it. Otherwise you might get yourself in a starving for food and time pickle. If you are in a rush it might be better to choose another...

Service was great!!! Coffee was always hot and my cup never empty!! Chicken fried steak was amazing and not from some food Service of America truck it was actually a peice of cube steak hammered out ,breaded, and fried. The gravy wasna.mix of country gravy(sausage) and saw mill gravy(normally with bacon and bacon grease) with sausage in the gravy with bacon grease for flavor OMG. My over medium eggs were perfect and that's really not the case when going out. Hash brown's were decent and the sour dough toast was incredible and the slices were thick...considering most places only give you one slice, it was mind blowing that two slices were welcome but almost overwhelming in the best of ways. Ok the cinnamon roll was enormous and was obviously the creation of a kitchen bully!!!...it was huge but it was so light and fuffy and the cream cheese frosting was laid on thick..normally you would think it would be so rich that 3 bites would be all you could stand...NOPE The frosting was so light and airy that it disintegrated in your mouth like thousands of little crystal 's that on the touch of your tongue begins a chain reaction of a wave of miniature explosions that barely let it touch your tounge.... I ate it all and am still living with the shame..... This meal was the most fun I've ever had getting so full I should have had to...

I called in A order for two sausage, breakfast sandwiches and one ham breakfast sandwich. These breakfast sandwiches apparently come with hashbrowns. When the lady told me this, I said I’m just looking to buy the breakfast sandwiches, please. I did not bother to ask a price, because never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that the breakfast sandwiches would cost what they cost. 1295 apiece with a three dollar discount in total for all of the sandwiches it was going to be over $42 for three small breakfast sandwiches before tip. I actually could not believe this. I am a local, I haven’t been in here in a few years, but boy has this place gone downhill absolutely taxing and gouging the customers to death. I told them that I will not be paying $42 for three little sandwiches. She looked at me like I was crazy, probably about the same look I had on my face about the cost of their food. but because I am a good person I told her I will not be paying that price, but I gave her $17 for the time wasted. Plus, that’s what I had in my wallet and that’s what I figured three little sandwiches would cost maybe 20 bucks for the three of them at most. I will make sure and be posting this everywhere, as I said, I’m a local to the town and I know everybody and I think when people are gouging like this, they need to be...

:) Thank you for the hot food, hot syrup, tasty food, hot coffee, good cold water, and AMAZING service. We walked in with 12 people around 10:15 and were seated within 5-10 mins. With this being said, we went to this location during the slower hours when they were not busy. The waitress and the food runner were both amazing. Coffees and water cups were never less than 1/2 empty. I am from out of state and the mountains/clouds were such a beautiful site and great for photos. The only thing that went wrong was we had ONE order of eggs that were under cooked/raw which they immediately recooked perfect within 5 minutes and highly apologize for it. This is a MINOR issue that was fixed instantly. All of our food came out at the same time. All orders were hot & correct. Thank you for the amazing service.

Impromptu date brought us here. The mozzarella sticks were fried to perfection, the breading was super light. She had the clam strips and fries, and i had the hot roast beef on potato bread with mashed potatoes and gravy. Pros: fast service, amazing mozzarella sticks with a delicate breading, large portions, homemade gravy, lumps and all! (Yum!), pour sugar on the table inatead of sugar packets (yay!), and an old school pie display turner which we loved, clean restrooms. Cons: coagulated cocktail sauce (bizarre!), gravy was slightly bland, no refills were offered (not sure if that was their policy or if she just didn't offer it). We enjoyed it for the most part and will definitely go back.
