Gold Bar Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Gold Bar

I don't like to beat up on anyone's business, but this was an exception, first time there so I was optimistic, now I have eaten at numerous Asian restaurants, I ordered Pad tai and fresh spring rolls, when I ordered the pad tai I specifically stated please NO PEANUTS, after waiting over 30 min for my order, the meal looked very tasty, but then I noticed the peanuts on it, BIG TIME NO GO!! let's move on to the so called fresh spring rolls, I love fresh spring rolls, order them every time I eat out at Asian restaurants, so I know what they are about and what is inside of them, these so called fresh spring rolls was nothing but chopped lettuce (And lots of it) and two pieces of shrimp and nothing else, that alone will set you back $9 dollars for two of them, I was very put off by this restaurant, needless to say I will not be back, i live in gold bar, i will travel to Monroe to eat real...

Loved it! I got drunk noodles and my husband got pad thai. Pad thai was huge. Lots of yummy veggies in the drunk noodles, perfect flavor. No soggy broccoli in the drunk noodles either which I was grateful for bc so many Thai places I've been to lately are putting soggy broccoli into the drunk noodles which it's not supposed to have 😆 (and if you order it w/o you end up with less veggies which i need so i usuallyjust bear with eating the soggy broccoli 🤣. Gold bar thai simply had lots of carrots, onions, and bells which its supposed to have in drunk noodles). Anyways, LOVED this place, very glad to have a restaurant here again 😄. Do be careful with your stars, it may be a bit more spicy than others. We ordered 2 and 3 star and it was fairly spicy- but a flavorful spicy. If you are sensitive though order 1 star...

Last Sunday while waiting in traffic on SR 2 from Stevens pass we decided to stop at the Gold Bar Thai restaurant. If you know SR 2, you know the back up sucks especially on Sundays. We were pleasantly surprised how good the food and drinks were at this small town Thai place. They were pretty busy so we were seated in the bar at a table and the service was excellent for how busy they were. We got our drinks right away and ordered appetizers and entrees. There was a one younger lady and gentlemen working in the bar that checked on us regularly. They apologized for the wait for food (It really was not that long). The server warned us about the spice levels being on the spicy side and glad they did so we ordered two star instead of three and four star. Food, service excellent! ...
