This is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Ordered chicken and broccoli lo mein, the chicken tasted like fat and felt like goo. The broccoli tasted like chemicals. Went back for a refund, as the food made my girlfriend throw up within moments. The lady said no refunds. There was not a “no refund sign” so I stated that she needed one if there are no refunds. Then she threw a ten dollar bill at me, and when I asked for the rest she said no refunds again. I was respectful the entire time, only pointing out the quality of the food and the fact that there wasnt a no refund sign so I stood my ground until she threw another ten dollars at me, and she slung my food onto the floor behind her, leaving a mess everywhere. I still didn’t get the full amount I paid back but considering I wasted 20 minutes there I was ready to go. I used to like it but since the owners changed everything went downhill. 10/10 would not recommend. The lady on the register was childish and not very good...
Read moreI have been eating here for around 6 months. However, my mom and niece have been eating here for quite a while. Their food has always been really good and the service has been excellent. I can't really say anything about the atmosphere because I call my order in, and it's ready to pick up when I arrive, so I have never eaten there or been there any longer than maybe 2 minutes. I've never gotten my order wrong or anything missing. Everyone who has checked me out has been very friendly also. The only thing that I can complain about would be their chicken chow main. It would be absolutely perfect if they put more snow peas in it, less celery, and smaller pieces of onions, more crunchy noodles, and no rice. However, the Chow Mein is absolutely delicious now. I just order extra crispy noodles and no rice, although they always give me the rice anyway. I would definitely tell anyone who wants to order good Chinese food that Great Wall is one of the best in...
Read moreIs it Monday? Are you reading this because it’s Monday and they are the only Chinese Food “restaurant “ in Goldsboro open on Mondays? Well strap in, because them being open on Mondays is the only thing they have going for themselves! The chicken lo mein tasted like straight cigarettes, like they ran out of liquid smoke and used an ash tray instead! The crab Rangoon must have been cooked 5-6 hrs before I ordered it. It tasted like refried beans wrapped in smashed old popcorn, but not the good popcorn, like unsalted, butter-less, 2 week old theater popcorn. I’m not being vindictive, but I ordered 5 things and the plane white rice was the only thing eatable.they said 15 minutes, it took 35, which was no problem, I got to sit in hand me down, thrift store rejected chairs at a sticky table and listen to the sultry sounds of the mom screeching at her children before storming out. So, ya know, $60 down the drain and now I need to make dinner...
