This Buffalo Wild Wings is my go to location when I'm craving B-Dubs, though not without its minor faults. Normally this location is fantastic with very few issues, great chicken, friendly staff, the usual expectations.
While its hard to find the right words to describe exactly what I mean, one issue I frequently run into with the Boneless Chicken wings is that they come to the table almost "Soft" or "Cold", but not in the way those normally mean. Sometimes when the chicken arrives its hot, crispy and all around great, and then other times when it comes to the table, its like the breading of the chicken is just kind of peeling off, and the chicken is a little older tasting. Its hard to describe because it doesn't necessarily ruin the meal as much as its just an unexpected difference in the chicken, its still generally hot, but the breading just doesn't want to stay on it without having to try very hard. Almost as if it were prepared chicken, then left in a warming cabinet or tray, and then served at a later time. I understand in many businesses this is necessary to avoid being wasteful, but if that's the case, then its often obvious when I haven't gotten the freshest chicken.
The only other gripe I have with them is that I don't feel like I can order Online or DoorDash from this location without missing something, or getting cold food in general. Often when getting DD I would end up missing several sauce cups or one of my sides, when I thought maybe it was a DoorDash problem I started ordering online myself, but after that I was still missing items. Even when I wasn't missing items, I would go to pick up my food, be told there was a short wait still, and even after getting my food and the short 5 minutes drive back home, my chicken felt like it was old, and my fries were often cold. These are issues that I never have in store, and haven't ever had outside of their online ordering.
Aside from these though I seldom find myself having problems in restaurant. I love their fried pickles, though I think they might've changed the recipe recently. Another great menu item is the Cheese Curd Bacon burger, a delicious burger that comes topped with Cheese Curds and a special sauce, always delicious, now if only they would start making it wider instead of taller, it'd be even easier to eat. Overall I would recommend eating here, but to be mindful that if you order online to double check your bag and quality of food before you leave the parking lot...
Read moreTake your money elsewhere, they don't want your business anyway. We used to love going to the Grand Blanc location because of the proximity to Trillium. We were frequent customers. The staff was great, the wings were great. But we went there with a couple friends one night and both our server and the manager were horribly rude to us. From the moment we sat down, we felt unwanted. That was confirmed throughout the evening with the attitudes of the staff. If we weren't sure before that our business was unwanted there, it was quite clear at closing time when the manager felt the need to yell at the top of her lungs across the whole restaurant "WE'RE CLOSING NOW! GET OUT!" We called the next day to speak with a manager about the incident and were told the manager was busy and would call us back. No call. We called two more times throughout the day and management never returned our calls. We called corporate and they said they would look into it. They called us back to say that management of the location has been informed and will be contacting you about it within a couple days. No one called, so we called back. They claimed they weren't aware of the situation but they'd look into it but there was nothing they could do about it. This was late May through early June that all this happened. We have never gone back and after hearing about our experience, many of our friends that went there regularly no longer do. There are plenty of other businesses in decent proximity to the theater that DO appreciate their...
Read moreWe walked in at 7:25 and were “seated” immediately. I use that term loosely because the host just pointed at a table in the bar area and told us to sit there. It took almost 30 minutes before we even had drinks at the table and another 30 minutes before the food showed up. When it finally came, half of it was cold and the other half had clearly been sitting in the window too long.
The manager Shane M. was a complete joke. I saw him in the dining room maybe three times total in the hour and a half we were there. He spent most of his time loitering at the drink station near the bar, chatting, and occasionally dancing like he was auditioning for attention instead of running a shift. When I finally got the chance to say something, he brushed me off with excuses like “we’re busy” and “we don’t have a server assigned to this section.” He even said “Well if you had brought it to my attention earlier.” When, Shane? When could I have brought it up? We saw our server three times total and you and I made eye contact multiple times. Not once did you take responsibility or attempt to fix the problem.
Aren’t you the manager? The name tag says you are, but your actions and lack of basic soft skills make me question if you’re an imposter or if the person who promoted you knows what they’re doing. Why should I, the customer, have to come up with a solution for problems you’re paid to handle? Maybe learn to take accountability and actually manage a shift, unless you’re still too busy making a fool of yourself by dancing next to the...
