I was excited to go see Hamilton at the Triilium (Friday @ 6:30). The movie started and the teenagers in two different rows were singing so loud that they drowned out the performers. Not to mention the phones out filming the show and taking pictures.Thirteen people went out of the theater to complain. Two employees came into the theater and said, “Yes, the audience is too loud” yet did nothing. We left the theater and they refunded the movie tickets. It is a terrible state of affairs when respectful moviegoers have to leave the theater (for their own sanity) instead of the rude, loud moviegoers that bother everyone else. Movie was pretty good on the big screen. Seats are decent but not like the reclining seats at some theaters I been to. Slushy machines were only half working and popcorn was all little bits and not whoe kernels and there was no flavorings out like they used to be. Wait times to purchase tickets took forever. Almost an hr to be exact. I've had way better experiences At this location and only hope that being short staffed due to covid is the reason for this cause they surely brought in the money on this evening. Showed up for a late night movie on a week day, the theater was pretty darn clean, and the layout is nice, though I was a little confused since there appears to be 2 main entrances but only the one had a spot to pay for tickets (or in my case scan a qr code for the online tickets). While the popcorn and drinks were a bit pricy, they had refills like moth theaters do but for the drinks at least you filled them so we weren't limited to 1 refill, not sure about the popcorn beyond you at least get 1.
