McDonald's — Restaurant in Grand Blanc Charter Township

I do not have much to say about the service because I only come to this McDonald's on my lunch and I always go through the drive-thru. I come to this McDonald’s almost every single day because it is usually the quickest and closest thing to me. Almost every day for the past 3 weeks I have ordered a cheeseburger of some sort and specifically requested “No Onions”, and every single time there is either a large amount of onions under the cheese, just on the burger in general, or it has been “scraped” off the burger with few onions still left over and visible scrap marks in the patty. I am not allergic to onions, however this is a pretty big concern if someone had an allergy to something that they requested not to be on their food and the workers are too lazy to make a fresh burger and rather just scrap the onions off or make no attempt at all. On the other hand, I am currently pregnant and the smell of onions alone makes me throw up. It is even worse when I check the burger for no onions and take a bite just to find tons of them hidden under the cheese. I am not usually one to complain or leave bad reviews ever but at this point I’ve wasted time, money, and gas getting food that I can’t even eat. I realize a lot of this issue is not necessarily the workers considering they have a very small time limit to get people in and out of the drive thru leading to cutting corners and a decrease in quality which isn’t saying much considering I don’t expect the highest quality from fast food anyways. Generally, this is one of the better McDonald's that I've visited. My last 3 visits, however, have been somewhat disappointing because the McDonald's app deals have not been honored. Twice I've been told that my app deal has expired, but even after refreshing, I've been told that " it didn't go through". Today, after ordering and reaching the window to pay, I found that I was not being given the app discount. When I inquired, I was told that "our server has been having trouble connecting to the app", so I couldn't receive the discount (nor the app points).

I would think that should and would be made known to a customer before they order rather than after the customer has already waited in line for their order.

The monetary amount is small, but when viewed as an overall cost, the lack of discount today more than doubled the cost of my order (from $3.12 to $6.67). Over my last 3 visits, that's over $10 more that I paid versus what I should have, not to mention that I did not receive the additional points in the app that would have eventually lead to me being eligible for free food.

Needless to say, I will be going elsewhere for my lunch orders for the foreseeable future, regardless of how quick or friendly the service is. If a place is not willing to live up to their nationally advertised deals and discounts, I'll take my...

My girlfriend and I stayed at the "Quality" Inn just up the road and went to this location twice, early morning and that afternoon after checking out of our hotel. Early morning breakfast was not good, took about 7 mins to make 6 items which they forgot one of the hash-browns. Then and it took a whole 10 mins for them to come back with our coffee. When they finally came with the coffee we told them they forgot a hash-brown and she didn't believe us, so we had to show her our bag. She had an attitude since we called out the mistake, mistake was corrected and we left. The second visit to this location about 12:30 that afternoon was for just 1 large coke. We waited in the drive-thru for about 5 mins with no movement, decided to park and go in. Went in, ordered at the kiosk and had to pay cash at counter, me and 3 other cash paying customers were ignored by 3 different workers. Finally after they rang us all up, it took another 7-10 mins to just fill my order for one large coke. They have no self serve fountain machine so I waited behind 4 other quite large orders for just one large coke. All in all it took almost 25 mins to get a large coke.
