I just don't know where to begin. My friend and I decided to stop here before going to the led zeppelin experience at the trillium, and unfortunately for the server, it was my turn to buy. My friend and I have 40 years of bartending and serving under our belt. We explained we were needing in and out within hr and half. And I generally start off at a twenty five percent tip and work my way up or down from there. My server, Olivia D...totally ignored us. I think she hit her vap pen or something too many times, she never once made eye contact with us . I ordered breadsticks, and she never brought side plates. She never brought my friends drink. We sat there for over 15 minutes. While my friend was eating breadsticks and almost choking, I had to ask a server from the other section to grab a coke for her because she was too busy at the bar talking to regulars. I ordered a Greek salad and I told her. I cannot stand olives. I do not want them on there. Somebody else delivered my salad to the table and it was covered in olives. And I sat there for another 15 minutes and asked the busboy to send a manager over because I would like to talk to somebody about it because my Server was missing an action somewhere. And all of a sudden, she reappeared and asked me what the problem was, and I explained the situation that I cannot stand olives, and what if I was allergic to them?And they come out of my plate? Olivia got all confrontational and got my face and said that you should have told me you were allergic and I told her I said I didn't tell you I was allergic I told you I can't stand them. I've never had a server talk to me like this in my life. Then she procedded to tell me that the kitchen messed it up. Well, I'm not stupid. I looked at the tab and she wrote and her ticket, no onions, so she lied to me. She threw the kitchen under the buss. She totally ignored us. She didn't refill our drinks.I ordered a stromboli to go and asked her to send it out in a box.It came out on a plate and sat at my table for twenty minutes before she came back with a box. I can understand bad service if it was busy but to bold face lie to me and I got proof on your ticket. You don't deserve a tip for me. I asked to speak to the manager twice to rectify the situation and nothing happened ..,and to find out you've worked there 3 years. Ugh. so I'm sorry but... This is unacceptable. I came to this restaurant to have a good time and have good food and pay good money for it. And I left with the crappiest taste in my mouth and I'll never go back again. Tasty Tuesday today was quite different. When we arrived they were not very busy at 6pm about 1/3 of the restaurant was filled up. We were seated immediately to a booth. When our server came by you could tell he was overwhelmed and busy. He took our drink order, my friend ordered a Coke,. I asked if they had Dr Pepper, he said yes we can do that. So I guessed that they did have it. He came back roughly 5 minutes later, gave my friend my drink and myself her drink. No big deal we just switched straws, when I tasted the “ Dr Pepper” it was Coke with grenadine. Not even close to a Dr Pepper. I get trying to be accommodating but if he would have told me that then I would have just got a plain Coke. He comes by about 10 minutes later and I asked for just a plain Coke. He takes our orders and it was 50% a pizza limit one pizza per person. He then tells us that it is one pizza per table when clearly the sign says per person with membership. He then goes to ask the manager if he can give us both the deal. As we were paying separately and both wanted different pizzas. He comes back roughly 2 minutes later and says he can do per person if we sign up for the rewards membership. Then he did not come back with a new Coke for about 15 minutes as he was clearly busy as the dinner rush was picking up. Then we ate our meal, pizza was just pizza. Then when he brings our bill we notice a 20% gratuity is automatically added on. I have not been to a local restaurant that added a 20% gratuity automatically, as well as there was only two of us and he came to our table a total of 4 times through the 1.5 hours we were there. I always tip and did not argue the tip. I will not be back to Aubree’s, as this location put a bad taste in our mouths. Read moreThis was our first time here. A friend of ours highly recommended this place, so we had to scope it out. The food was just as good as we were told. We sampled an appetizer, pizza, and a dessert. Our cocktails were also nothing to complain about. Our waiter was nice, but we had some time where we thought the wait staff would be the deal breaker for if we ever returned. We had ordered another round of cocktails. Instead of receiving those drinks, we watched our waiter, with several others, gather and talk like people who weren't on the job. 10 minutes went by and none of them checked their tables or guests, and we weren't receiving our ordered beverages. Not having water to drink as we waited was also a problem for us. When the group of them finally dispersed and our waiter checked on us, I snipped about still waiting on something to drink and wasn't shy about mentioning watching them talk to one another and ignore their jobs. Surprisingly, he was genuinely sorry and there was no sarcasm or eye roll when he apologized. When he brought the round of drinks (very quickly this time), he said, "this round is on me, guys. Again, I'm very sorry." At other restaurants when they screw up, they aren't always so quick to compensate you for anything. They will fix the issue, but (in our experience) they will almost go out of their way to make sure that their mistake costs them as little as possible.
