Good food in a cool speakeasy vibe downtown location. We stopped in while traveling through Nebraska, looking for a good non-chain dinner.

Service was prompt and attentive. Very quick on the refills.

The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. Good BBQ sauce, not too sweet or overpowering. Good balance. My son and I inhaled these.

The BBQ beans were excellent, sweet with pulled pork in them. Definitely worth getting.

I also had the hashbrown casserole. It was a bit mushy, cheesy. My wife didn't like it, I thought it was fine. It reminded me of a potluck side dish. Dunno if this is a Nebraska thing, but I thought it was worth the try.

The onion rings were great. Nothing unique, but well cooked, hot and tasty.

The pulled pork sandwich was a bit overcooked. Softer than we prefer. I'd try something different next time.

They had what looked like a good selection of microbrews. I tried the homemade root beer. It was good, and free refills - bonus!

If you pay with card, be sure to check it carefully to make sure you weren’t overcharged. After giving my server my card to pay, my bank app informed me I had been charged 20% more than the cost of our meal. When I asked the server, she said this was normal because the bill was not known so it was overcharged intentionally. Then when the amount on the line for “total” was written clearly, it was still not entered as the correct amount. I brought this to the attention you the manger the next day. I received all sorts of excuses, and even though the error was refunded, it would seem it would not be difficult to put the amount on the total line correctly. A skill that I would assume to be included in basic server training. I was refunded the error, but do not feel I should have been twice charged the incorrect amount in...
