The Bridal Collection — Local services in Grand Island

This business is a complete joke! Not only were our bridesmaid dresses TWO MONTHS late coming in, but the wedding dress that they sent to the bride was TWO sizes too big! The dresses were supposed to come in June 1st and during the 2 months it took them to arrive, the bride and myself(maid of honor) called numerous times. Each time we called they said that the dresses had been shipped or were scheduled to ship on a certain day. We would call each week to see if they had arrived and were told the same story or similar EACH TIME. Needless to say we took our service elsewhere.

Then I got a bill in the mail saying that I owed money to them for the dress and that if I didn't pay by August 24th, a late fee of $20 would be added each month that I didn't pay. I then called Bridal Collection to tell them that something needed to be done or changed in exchange for the poor service we had received. They wouldn't tell me what was going on or what I could do at all. They told the bride and I both that they would have their accountant call us back to discuss it. I have been waiting 2 weeks for the accountant to call to get the situation figured out. Instead of getting a call from their accountant, I get a call from a collection agency saying that I owed a past due bill. So while I was waiting on THEM to call me back, they send it to a collection agency INSTEAD of contacting me!

After I was notified of the collection that I owed, I called Bridal Collection and talked to the manager to ask her why they sent it to the collection agency before it was even a month past due. She told me that I needed to call the collection agency to ask them. I said,"You are telling me that they will know why you sent it to collections so soon without contacting me, but you yourself don't know why?" She said, "Yes you need to talk to the collection agency." I asked her a few more questions along the same lines and the only words she seemed to know were "you need to talk to the collection agency if you want answers." Of course when I called the collection agency they had no idea why it was sent to them so soon after the bill was sent out because that is not the purpose of their business.

When i went shopping for my wedding dress i found the perfect dress at the bridal collection. The ladys were so helpful and nice. Once the store moved (Nobody called to let me know the store and my dress had moved to a new location) and got new owners I've had nothing but problems. I was told when i purchases my dress they'd call me 8 weeks before the wedding to schedule my fittings. I ended up having 3 different fittings and i had to call each time to get it scheduled. Nobody ever called to let me know when my dress was done getting altered. One of my bridesmaids went in to try her dress on and asked a worker to help zip it up and they told her they were to busy and couldnt help her. But it looked like it would zip. Come to find out the dress was far from fitting. When getting my dress 2 days before the wedding thry told me thry were going to have it dry cleaned and steamed. There was a stain inside the brest where somebody had either a spray tan or foundation rub off. It was still there when i picked it up. I wasn't very happy with...

I can’t say enough nice things about The Bridal Collection. Finding my wedding dress here was the most wonderful experience. My mom and I walked in last November just to “try some dresses on” not knowing I would walk out in happy tears finding my wedding dress. Liz, Josie and Tessa were so helpful. Finding multiple dresses for me to try on. They were suggestive and supportive of the ideas I had in mind. I also found my vail, and a few other accessories to go with my dress. I’ve stopped in a few other times to try it on and they have been just as supportive and kind since the first day I walked in. Liz also helped me with some color schemes for my groom and best man. I am originally from Grand Island but now live in Colorado. And I am so honored to have been able to find my dream dress back home at the Bridal Collection.
