Dragon Treasure Orchard Mesa — Restaurant in Grand Junction

This was our first time at Dragon Treasure, Orchard Mesa. We’ve seen it a hundred times; but not living in GJ, it’s usually on our way in or out of town. Tonight we decided to stop. Much larger inside that looking from the outside. Very clean and we were pleasantly greeted and seated right away. They were fairly busy, but that didn’t take any attention away from service. I ordered two dishes, Mandarin Beef and Kung Pao Chicken. My wife ordered the beef noodle soup (Pho Style) but with a Chinese seasoning on the beef giving it a kind of five spice flavor. The steamed rice arrived before the main course which was good for snacking on before the rest of the food hit. The Kung Pao Chicken had some kick. The taste was really good and it wasn’t over loaded with bell peppers like many places do. The Mandarin Beef was really good too. The breaded and fried then sauced beef cutlets were perfect. Slight kick, not like the KPC. Her soup also had plenty of beef slices, looked like it could’ve been brisket slices. When dining in, I've had zero issues with Dragon Treasure. Today we were looking to get food delivered and I couldn't find information on if they provide delivery (their website isn't working), so I called and asked. The guy on the phone was extremely rude... like I've never had someone so rude from here (or anywhere) before... but wow! He whined/yelled at me that they only do takeout, as if I should know this already. He acted like I was totally inconveniencing him... Dude! I was just asking a question. I was willing to do takeout, too, but after such a rude encounter I hung up and gave my business to someone else.

Also, if you own this business try Googling yourselves... I know it may not always be accurate but at this moment Google is saying you provide delivery. Don't be mad at customers for finding information online and calling to ask if it's...

I wish I could give six stars! We came just expecting to get some decent Chinese food, but this place was so much more because not only was the food excellent with extremely generous portions that turn into two meals, and excellent flavors, but the service was outstanding.

No, it was more than outstanding. Sometimes you go places and you get really good service, which is nice. But it's rare that the people you meet are genuinely happy and smiling and just making everyone else happy around them. And that's what happened here.

They weren't just super friendly to us, I saw them being very super nice and friendly to everybody. It was like one big happy family or something. It was just amazing.
