Bar & Book at Lone Star Park — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

Unfortunately food is hit or miss. In the Bar & Book server Jessica is very disrespectful to clients. Jessica doesn't have any degree of ethics, professionalism, friendliness, interpersonal skills or amiability. Jessica has her group of Men she only likes to attend to and be extra friendly. Had a conversation with Michael supervisor hoping something gets done. Multiple employees came to me and stated Jessica and Michael are buddies and that she is very rude to employees as well. Employees also informed me that several clients as well as employees have made complaints about Jessica but do that her and Michael which is the kitchen supervisor are friendly nothing ever gets done. I was gonna give them a 2 buuutt they came through at the end$$... All I ordered was a miller lite there and as far as miller lite drafts go... Wellllll, it did it's job in quenching the thirst. Didn't order any food. Though have had the chicken alfredo before and it was delicious. I do recommend it for the vast races broadcast from all over the country. And on Saturdays the Aussie track is going from 10pm-2am. Really cool. If you enjoy the thrill of not knowing what may happen,though hoping your right on your picks. I can’t say enough about this. Been here for an hour and all I’ve gotten was a menu. Yeah I get people come here to bet on horses but I came for food and to bet, the experience like they advertise. I couldn’t even get a chance to ask the server for water before she ran away. Fifty minutes later she said night shift was going to take over this side, that was twenty minutes ago. Still not one drink or any food. What’s the point? Do not come unless all you want is to bet because the restaurant part of this facility is pointless. I’m watching our old waitress now across the room gossip with another worker....
