Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

Ordered online on a Sunday, never knew this place was closed on Saturday and Sundays. I was able to complete my online order and was even given a tracker to see my status on this order process from beginning of prepping my order to it being bagged. My order was to be completed and ready for curbside pick up at 7:45pm. I head to the location with ample time and upon arriving I see a vehicle in the parking lot and assume that business is open. Never in my mind would have I of thought that it was closed as this was my first time at this location. And again website never said it was closed. As I wait for 30 minutes, I continue to see on my lovely tracker that my food it being prepped by a pit master, and upon seeing the status I see a good smoke cloud coming from the building and I even think to myself, geez this is pretty accurate, then the inside of the building I can clearly see two individuals in the kitchen. Seems like they are prepping the food from what I could see as I was in my car. About 10 minutes pass and I see two individuals exit the building (male and female) and the female locks the door....I roll my window down and ask if they are closed and the female with the ugliest attitude says "We are closed" head swinging left to right, eye rolling and all. And I told her "ok well I have an order that I'm waiting for" and she then again sayd "I dont know, we are closed" didn't even bother to help at all. I then ask for her name and she said "Daniella" again with attitude. I literally was left to figure this out on my own with no help from Daniella!! So not only am I now fighting with Dickeys to get my money back, but Daniella had the nerve to call me the following day on Monday and basically any it wasn't her job to dispute this transaction but I would need to handle this with Dickeys. This lady sucks!!!! And the ow er should be made aware of this! Oh and to top it off Daniella is the "manager" at this location. Once again this...

Hidden gem alert! This Dickies Barbecue Pit is a true find that is tucked away near the major attractions of Arlington. While the location may be a bit hidden, let me tell you – it's absolutely worth the search!

Now, let's talk about the food – oh, the food! The sliced brisket was nothing short of amazing. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, each bite melted in my mouth! It's evident that this location takes great pride in their barbecue, and it truly shows in every slice of brisket they serve.

And let's not forget about the toast – it was just perfect. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with just the right amount of butter. It complemented the brisket beautifully and added a delightful crunch to every bite.

Not to be biased but I work in this restaurant the hispanic guy I'm not sure if he's Mexican or where his parents are from or if he's actually is born somewhere over there but he's very kind and friendly the food is very delicious I recommend the sausage sandwich the sausage that has jalapenos and cheese very very delicious I recommend it with a little bit of barbecue sauce I don't like barbecue but this barbecue with this sauce sausage sandwich is delicious another thing I recommend in here is a peeking pie very delicious very delicious I repeat that very calm and relaxed so very quiet place not super loud you can come and do some homework some work you might having some computers some calls you got going on just relax for a moment while you enjoy your meal I recommend...
