Dunkin' — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

When this Dunkin first opened we had lots of problems. Rude employees, messed up orders, inconsistent hours. I chalked it up the pandemic and stopped going. This year we started going again and had some great experiences.

That all changed today. My wife placed an order at 6:50am to the store for a donut she wanted. When I arrived I placed my usual coffee order and advised them I have an online order. I provided the name and, after a moment, I was told ok and drive up to the window. Katrina is super nice (as are most of the employees) and takes my order. I mention the online order and she sounds surprised. She then says they don’t have an order for that name.

Next thing I know another woman is coming out saying they don’t have an order for that name and their system is working fine. I call my wife on the phone IN THE DRIVE THRU and have her send the picture. I then get accused of placing the order while in the drive thru! I am told I am holding up THEIR line and next time I need to place the order in advance. This is very insulting considering I’ve already placed the order. The woman, whom I assume is the manager because all the other employees just stopped talking when she showed up, walked away and grabbed a donut and gave it to me. She said next time to do the order properly to which I replied how is it my fault if I have proof of purchase but your system doesn’t see it? I provided proof and you’re still blaming me for your long line? I was then told I am putting words in her mouth, we are done, and get out of the drive thru. She walked away…absolutely trash service. This is something I would expect from a young teenager who has no desire to work, not from someone of her age and position in the store. Like I have said, the employees are normally extremely nice and welcoming. But this is our second incident with this woman/manager (the first was my wife placed an order and tried to use both t-mobile codes we have and was refused by this woman/manager).

I filed a complaint with corporate and I’m waiting to speak with the store owner. Until then I have no desire to shop here any more. I love Dunkin but this experience has soured my desire to spend money on their product. I’d much rather drive 20 minutes from my house if it means I’ll be respected...

I went to this location as usual to get my favorite ice cream. Praliens&cream and chocolate chip..when the young lady proceeds to take my order i said may i come to the window with my order. I want to order 3scoops of icream and i just want to watch and make sure you get it right to which the young lady said no . I said you said No? Then this nasty spirited caucasian lady got on their being all mean and nasty and fiesty to which i said mam who ate you and she said im her boss and no you cant come to the window unto which i proceed to tell her why i wanted to come to make sure my order was right and i wanted the person to put their gloves on because sometimes they touching stuff and making our food with unwashed hands . I meant absolutly no harm by what i was saying and asking. Mind you i go to this location everyday and my encouter with the workers have been very very pleasant. To the owner i dont know who youve picked to be your GM but you need to send her all the way back where you got her from. Shes going to run your customers off just like she just did me. I will never ever come back to this Dunkin/ Baskin Robbins... Some people cant handle a little authority. I promise you i want be the only one who will complain about her nice nasty attitude. I think she should just make the donuts and let the other staff deal with your customers that come spend their money everyday at your establishment. Ill take my business to cooper street. Those ladies at the Baskin Robbins are humble, nice and friendly and very very polite to the customers black & white and this not about race either. Have a good day. You want ever have to worry about me again...In Jesus...

Wow.. this has to be the worst experience that I've had at a restaurant...... The lady behind the counter is the most hateful and rude woman that anyone would ever have to face in any kind of restaurant... The donuts didn't look very fresh at all so I asked her kindly if she knew when they were made, she said they make everything the night before starting at about 10:00 then she started really going off on a 5-minute long speech about how if I didn't like the donuts I shouldn't buy them and turn around and through the box across the counter. I was standing there looking in aw trying to figure out how me asking when the donuts were made had triggered that kind of response. To start with when I asked her I was very kind and in a great mood and I honestly have no idea what had just happened. I turned and walked out with her talking trash in the background. Honestly if the donuts were made the night before at 10:00 they were stale and I really didn't want them anyway so at least her bad behavior kept me from buying bad donuts. I should have looked at their reviews before going in the door it tells you all you really need to know....
