First, the best consistent pizza we've ever eaten, is Pizza Planet in Amarillo, Tx. I'm talking since 80's, I think? It's just been a really long time. Papa John's was 2nd place. Marco's is now 2nd place, my #2. The only way to deserve 1st place, is through good consistency. You give me 2 years of consistently good service and product, you can have my #1. And I will give slides now and then, I know things happen.

This is our first visit to Marco's, and it won't be our last. We called in our order, and used a coupon. The person was nice, well groomed (3people were up front), and efficient! It's was a great deal, lrg 2 topping (pepperoni & bacon) for like $9.

The front door was spotless, this was after 5pm. The store looked and smelled clean! There was no old overly well done (burnt) greasy smell in the air. And you know, that smell that tells you it's time to clean the ovens? That was absent! It was just fresh cooked pizza'y tomatoey goodness smell.

I picked it up late, but it reheats fabulously! There is a great ratio of crust, sauce, cheese, and topping. The crust is chewy and flavorful. It wasn't bland tasteless cardboard at all, the crust could stand on its own. The sauce had a tomatoey savory strong presence, it wasn't artificial tasting at all! I usually ask for extra sauce, this has plenty of sauce and flavor. It had an abundance of stringy creamy flavorful cheese. It had a good flavor to it. And it was really loaded with real pepperoni and real bacon, we got meat in every bite!

Another person mentioned theirs was a grease slick in a box basically. When a pizza has this much meat and cheese, there's going to be some oily/greasy goodness to it. That's more flavor! Hah! There was like a liner or something under our pizza, maybe that's to absorb the extra grease? But that's that other persons opinion, and they are entitled to it! I like how Marco's responded to the concerned comment. It seems like they tried to remedy the grease issue, and I give them credit for that.

I can't wait to try the other items on their menu. They seem like they want to make a positive brand in our area?! I'm all for that! And no, I wasn't compensated for this review! If I dont like something, I can be just as critical on the you suck at this scale!

I came in Tuesday and there was a pregnant woman I think her name was Tam. She made my day! I asked her how the pizza was she told me its AMAZING! I’m not just saying this because I work here I’m telling you that you will not be sorry. She said that if I didn’t like the pizza she would buy it for me! So I’m thinking she is a very confident woman the pizza must be great and let me tell you it was far beyond my expectations. She rung it up and a young man was standing behind her she told him what I was getting and he went to start my order BEFORE I had even taken out my card to pay! Talk about fast service! Tam explained the loyalty rewards to me which I am now a member of, she also gave me a card that shows how many visits I make and says I can get a FREE pizza after 10 visits. I was kind of skeptical because of some of the reviews but listen to me Grand Prairie 🗣🗣 THIS MARCO’S PIZZA IS EVERYTHING! Great customer service, CLEAN RESTROOMS (which believe me actually matters; I hate going to a restaurant with disgusting bathrooms), she even asked me was there anything on Netflix I wanted to watch because I was dining in! Shows that they actually want their guests to be comfortable! Took them about 7 minutes to call me up but as I was about to get up the woman brought it to my table with a plate and my brownie (that she convinced me to get although I sure as heck didn’t need it lol), she showed me the pizza and I knew before I even tasted it that there was no way I wasn’t going to love it! I took a bite and fell in love. She was explaining to me that they make their dough and sauce from scratch and believe me you can taste the difference FAR better than any other pizza place I’ve had! Normally good food-not tonight though....and horrible customer service. I ordered 1 pizza and 2 subs last night. The order was placed at 6:50 with an expected delivery listed at 7:30. By 8:00 the tracking had not updated at all-still showing my order was being prepped and should be delivered by 7:30. So I called to ask about my order. I said I had placed an online order......that was as far as I got....never had a chance to even give my name....before I was interrupted with “yeah we don’t know what happened to your order”. He then said, “I just saw it come up”. He started saying some other things but it was muffled like he was covering the phone. I asked him to repeat it and he said he was talking to the driver to see if they knew anything about my order. I asked if they had any new updates on the time frame. He didn’t answer my question and just said “I already said we don’t know what happened to your order...you’ll have it soon. Have a good night”. Before I could say anything the call was over. I thought about calling back and canceling the order but figured it would be a hassle, so I just waited. As soon as they hung up on me, my order tracking status changed. By the time I got my order....which was close to 9:30, I was disappointed. My subs were charred and my pizza had been hacked up. It was not cut normally. There were about 30-40 attempted slice marks.....nothing was cut all the way through thankfully, so I could go back and recut it into normal pizza size slices. I honestly think my order got lost, which I would have been fine with them just admitting. Then they could have admitted they were just starting to make it when I called. Instead they were rude, unhelpful and then rushed my order which resulted in it being a mess! Very...
