Today we tried Mia Lem for the first time and we're so happy we did! The space is clean and inviting and the ladies who served us were super sweet and helpful! Their menu is easy to navigate and is comprised of banh mi sandwiches, fresh made drinks as well as sweet and savory snacks. We ordered spring and summer rolls, egg rolls, two banh mi sandwiches and two drinks. The peanut sauce for the spring and summer rolls was tasty and both types of rolls were yummy. The shrimp in the spring roll was perfectly cooked and the salad inside along with the vermicelli was beautiful! I really enjoyed the summer roll as well because everything, the thinly sliced sausage, egg and the rest of the filling was so thoughtfully put together. I liked that the rice paper used for the rolls was a bit thicker, making for a more satisfying, hearty bite. The egg rolls tasted so clean and were elegantly executed. The wrapping, color, texture and crunch were perfect and the filling consisted of a tasty combination of mushrooms, cabbage, carrots, meat with a bit of bean thread noodle. This is the best egg roll I've had in a long time. It comes with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce. I got the combination banh mi and my husband got the grilled pork banh mi. They were kind enough to cut them in half for us so we could try each other's. The meat in both was perfectly seasoned, the veggies were fresh and vibrant and the baguette was crispy, altogether both were delicious! My husband got the classic sugar cane juice which was delightful and refreshing. I got a favorite of mine which not everyone makes, sugar cane juice with durian essence. It is the best version of this drink I've had:-) I'll be trying the kumquat sugar...
Read moreI assure you this place should not have any negative reviews! Being so close to my house this is my absolute go to! The wings are errrrthang! I legit could eat these wings daily. I do the Lemon Pepper usually. The Vietnamese coffee is good but nothing special, but the sparkling soda! OhEmGee you have to try! A tad costly but to me, worth it. I seen someone say the Banh Mi was midâŚ. Theyâre lying. Definitely not! The bread is perfect and grilled pork here is top tier!! The egg rolls are straight, no complaints Iâve just had better. The potstickers are delicious. Definitely worth getting. Most the reviews (even a couple 1 star ones) rave about the fries and they are accurate. The fries are great! The chicken buns I usually get every visit and I visit often so you get what Iâm saying! Fire. The Pho was delicious it was a huge bowl and the broth was amazing with lots of meat. I didnât really care for the noodles they use but I would still order again. My last trip in I got the grilled pork noodle bowl (pictured below) and like Iâve mentioned the grilled pork here is so good! If youâre wondering if you should try this place I assure you the answer is yes. Any 1 star reviews I suggest going back and trying something else because I call cap on anything here...
Read moreUghh, Iâm so disappointment and disgusted. This place is right by where I get my nails done and I wanted to try them out. I wanted to try the eggrolls. I called and ask specifically if they have meat in them and the person working there at 6:50 on Thursday (9/28/23) told me no it doesnât have any meat so I placed an order. I started eating and something was off. The ingredients are are so finely chopped so itâs hard to tell but it kind of looked like meat I continue to eat because I was told it didnât have any meat and as I was chewing the texture started to feel like meat. I call back to double check and I asked what ingredients are in the eggrolls. The worker says vegetable and pork after previously telling me they DIDNâT have any meat. She checks my order and states âYeah you ordered the regular eggrolls with pork.â The only reason I ordered them was because you said they didnât have any meat. You canât even trust workers to be truthful about what your asking about. If you donât know just say that. Ughh. Then she says what do you want to do. Like are you kidding me no apology or nothing. Iâm...
