I purchased my tritoon from the Fort Worth location but when the Grand Prairie location opened I was excited because it was closer to my house so I could take my boat there for yearly service and maintenance. DO NOT take your boat to this location. They have the worst customer service and don't know how to work on boats. They had my boat for 3 weeks. It started when I took my boat in because the bilge pump wasn't working. They said it was under warranty and to bring it in and it would be fixed in a couple of days. I dropped it off on a Monday and didn't hear back so I called them on Thursday and they weren't sure what the wait was. After looking into it they said the part wasn't in and it was a 2 day delivery time. It was ordered on Monday so it should have been there on Wednesday, and when it wasn't why didn't they look into it? It took me calling for them to look into it. I told them I was coming on Friday to pick up my boat as I had plans that weekend. Then next morning they called and said the part arrived, very odd since it hadn't shipped the day before. They said it would only take about 30 minutes to replace the bilge. I told them I would be in around lunch time. When I arrived they hadn't even started changing out the part. I waited there for 3 hours! And once it was changed out it kept blowing a fuse and they couldn't figure out why. I took my boat and brought it back the following Monday. Same as the week before, heard nothing so I called on Thursday. They said they had other boats that took longer than expected but my boat was next. I came in on Friday and waited another hour because it hadn't been worked on again. I took the boat out to the lake that weekend and my speedometer didn't work and my battery was dead from them testing my bilge. I had to get a jump to get my boat started. I called on Monday and took my boat back in. For the 3rd week they had it all week. When I called on Thursday they said it was a sensor but they didn't have the part but it was in stock in Fort Worth but was sending someone to get the part and it would be ready on Friday. Friday morning they call and say my boat was ready but it wasn't the sensor and my model boat didn't have a sensor. How would they not know this when they called me the day prior? They said the issue was I had a stick that was preventing water from causing the speedometer to read. It wouldn't even light up so how could this be and it worked before I took it in to fix the bilge. All the messing with my boat they messed up my speedometer but instead of taking accountability they turned it into being something I did and they charged me to take out the stick! They told me I must have ran over some branches. I go to the same lake every weekend and travel the same route and have never ran over branches.
I dealt with Jonathan who didn't know what was going on from day 1. Everything he told me was was wrong and he could never give me accurate information about my boat. I strongly suggest you take your boat anywhere else if you need to have maintenance on it.
UPDATE:They responded asking for my contact information so I could be contacted and of course noone contacted me. I see they put that on all their reviews to make it look like they are following up...
Read moreHorrible customer service Me and my brother just left from bass pro shop. He was picking out some ammo and a bag and these two old white guys in the back were surrounding us. One heavy set white guy come by and asked us rudely what we needed help with we told him we were picking out items. He stood at the end cap and then this other taller old white guy came up to us and ask us what we were looking for and one was standing on the end camp and the other on the opposite side of the aisle. He was staring at us while fixing the perfectly neat ammo boxes making it so obvious. He was just doing random stuff while my brother was trying to have a pleasant shopping experience picking items for himself. We felt rushed to leave the area and just go pay. He has the receipt for both items. I pulled my phone and keys out of my pocket and showed him if he was implying we were going to steal. It felt targeted it felt racist. So unprofessional and obvious they were watching us. It’s my third time here and such an ugly experience we had when we came in in a great mood. I spoke a very apologetic manager Jayla or something similar. She was very understanding and apologized although she did nothing wrong. Thank you to her for listening and being understanding. She stated she would be speaking to them. I do hope so because this behavior is inappropriate for their grown age. It’s disgusting. Bass...
Read moreI came here last week to try and purchase a handgun. To get into the queue was simple and the line moved fairly quickly. Once I was assisted by an associate I let him know I did not have experience shooting a gun but I was looking to purchase one that is reliable and a great starter gun. He immediately lectured me to go get experience at a range first before making a purchase, which makes 100% sense. He continued to show me options I could choose which I did appreciate, but halfway through showing me a handgun he turned his back and told his coworker that he was going on lunchbreak, did not let me know. His coworker then gave me the same lecture about testing the gun before buying, but then stared at me and did not give me the option to continue browsing options. Long story short; later that day I went to test multiple guns at a range and ended up choosing the SAME gun these guys seemed to not want to sell to me. I ended up driving to the Grapevine location because of this experience and got customer service that was 1000 times better than what I got at the GP location. I am giving this location 2 stars because the sales floor associates are very helpful from my visits here and the other gun sales associate currently at the time did seem friendly, but sadly his peers could not keep the...
