Arvin Brewing – A Must-Visit Brewey in the GRap
Arvin Brewing is an absolute treasure for beer enthusiasts in Grand Rapids. From the moment you step in, you’ll notice the impeccable service—friendly and knowledgeable servers who never miss a beat and ensure your glass is always perfectly filled. They truly elevate the experience and make every visit feel special.
Now, let’s talk beer. Arvin Brewing delivers an extraordinary lineup, with something for every palate. The kettle sours are vibrant and packed with flavor, a real treat for sour fans. If you’re lucky enough to visit when they’re offering their bourbon barrel-aged beers, don’t hesitate—these are complex, rich, and worth every sip. But the true standouts are the New England IPAs, which are nothing short of perfection. These hazy delights are bursting with juicy, tropical notes and have a soft, pillowy finish that keeps you coming back for more.
In the summer, the experience is taken up a notch with their food truck and outdoor bench seating. Enjoying a cold beer in the sun while savoring some delicious bites is about as good as it gets. While the outdoor space is fantastic, the indoor seating is less inviting. The interior could use some love, but the view of the brewing tanks offers a nice glimpse into the artistry behind the beer.
If you’re in Grand Rapids, Arvin Brewing is an absolute must-visit. The beer is second to none, the service is exceptional, and the summer vibes are unbeatable. Just grab a seat outside and enjoy the magic...
Read moreIt's finally here, the new Arvon Taproom on S. Division between the Franklin and Hall exits east of US-131. Great space with lots of natural light, original label artwork and seating areas including a long bar in the tasting room up front, and big picture windows showing off the stainless steel tanks and brewery/hops alchemy lab in the back. Great opportunity for the masses to finally experience the magic that is Arvon beer, as they certainly have outgrown the 2 hours of packaged goods for sale on a Saturday once a month in a nondescript Grandville industrial park. As of opening weekend they had 12 varieties available on tap for full and half pours, and a few cans and bottles available to take home. It didn't seem like crowlers or growler fills were available as of now, but maybe that's something for down the road. They also had a foodtruck parked outside and some beer pretzels on the menu for snacking options. But the real reason to come here is to sample and then drink the amazing beer. These guys are producing some of the most consistently delicious IPAs in the state, as well as some tasty sours and impressive stouts. I strongly encourage you to check them out at their new taproom and see for yourself what all the excitement is...
Read moreIf you like craft beer, you MUST try at least a few at Arvon! Upon my first visit to Arvon, I was blown away by the wonderfully robust flavors and creative brewing that is happening there. The sours are on the sweeter side with gobs of fruit and juice flavor. The selection of IPAs and NE IPAs are simply astounding. There are beers for everyone to enjoy.
The space is large and filled with picnic table seating for groups. Additionally, there are some stools with high top tables and for those who want to relax even more, there are some comfy armchairs to plop yourself into. The staff is awesome, the atmosphere is super chill and modern, and the bathrooms are clean.
They have a very limited snack menu. On the plus side, they do allow you to bring your own food or have it delivered.
