I ordered the roast beef dinner and asked for fries with gravy as a side. When I got to the window, they asked if I wanted gravy on the roast beef or just the fries. I made it very clear that I wanted EXTRA gravy on everything and was willing to pay extra for it. I heard the associate at the window relay that to the others working on the order. I got my order to go. When I got home, there was no gravy for my fries and just regular or less gravy on the roast beef. I called the restaurant and expressed my displeasure with the order. The person answering the phone said she remembered me and that my order had plenty of gravy. I informed her that I asked for extra AND a side for my fries. She did apologize and then said she didn't think my inconvenience was worth an entire meal, but that she would send me as coupon for a free concrete mixer and fries with a side of gravy. Today I picked those up. The window person asked if I wanted the gravy on my fries or on the side. I started to explain that I wanted a side but I liked a lot of gravy. Before I could even get into my explanation, she cut me off and siad, "oh, we remember you!" Took my coupons, turned away and shut the window. Just so you know, I have a medical condition that requires that my good be moist, hence the gravy and extra. It was supposed to be a treat for me and I would be able to have at least two if not three servings for myself. But, because the meat was dry, I ended up throwing the leftovers away. I probably won't go back, just because of how I was so quickly brushed off both times. I wasn't trying to get a free meal, but saying my inconvenience wasn't worth a free meal was sort of insulting. It's too bad, because I like your food, but being brushed off as unimportant feels...
Read moreHaving just moved to Michigan from Kansas, I was so excited to try Culver's. In my six month span of time living here, I've gone to this Culver's five times. Every time, I got a custard mixer. And every time except once, my order was incorrect.
I've ordered through the app. I've ordered in the drive through. I've ordered online. I only ever get a custard with two mix-ins, like default. And it is always incorrect.
One time, I ordered a chocolate custard with mint syrup and Andes mints. They gave me a vanilla custard. I went back to exchange, repeated my order, and they gave me chocolate custard with oreos.
Another time, I went inside with my boyfriend, he got a vanilla custard with sprinkles and I got the same chocolate mint Andes custard. His custard came out chocolate, and you guessed it, mine came out vanilla. I didn't say anything that time due to how busy they were.
This particular time, I went through the drive-thru and ordered a chocolate custard with added bananas and peanut butter. Didn't notice til I got to a stoplight that it was peanut butter cups, not peanut butter.
If this was just an occasional thing, whatever. It's not like my custard ever comes out DRASTICALLY different from how I ordered. But this has happened 4 out of 5 times I've gone, and it's just a little disappointing to never get what I...
Read moreSo I'm a homeless man living in grand Rapids Michigan. The type of person that is more accustomed to being told to leave the property or they're(owner, manager, employee) calling the police. Someone who is used to disgusted looks, distant stares, and the always classy "get a job" as they drive by and maybe throw some trash in your direction. I gifted a 20 dollar gift card and went to this store 3 times in the last week and was met with something so above and beyond good service or just doing a job that I wasn't sure if I should talk about it for the fear of employee retribution from management. I was met with more then smiles, quick service and good food (I already expected that I'm familiar with Culver's) they treated me like a human being instead of like something taking up valuable customer space or even a possible threat. I can't remember the last time I was treated "normal" by any employee after realizing at a glance there was no need too. Didn't happen 1ce, but 3x. One of those occasions I had a car literally die past the point of jump starting in their lot and the smiles still didn't turn to threats!?!? I wish I could do more then this post, because the only other thing I can do is be a repeat customer which is a lousy way to thank them. Anyway that was my experience at this location and I doubt I'll forget...
