I ordered delivery, so I can't give atmosphere views or service quality, so those get the benefit of doubt.
I ordered a large Bourbon chicken ($14), minus broccoli. A large Happy Family ($18), again minus broccoli. Plus a large Plain Lo Mein noodles ($10), with extra sauce. Lets start with the positives. They got the special requests done perfectly. The food also tasted wonderful with nice large portions. Now to the bad, and in my opinion very bad! The worse thing was the ratio of Meat to Veggies. For both meals it was about 30% meat to 70% veggies. Personally i think those need to be swapped if not greater. Absolute minimum to me would be 50/50. Chinese food is always pricey, but for those ratios it was too pricey! Also the sauce for the Happy family needs something more, spice maybe. The proteins in it were excellent though.
Overall, mainly because of ratio, is a 3 star review. Would I return? Yes to see if ratio was better. If it is my...
Read moreWe called to give the restaurant the opportunity to fix, but they wanted the food back which would have been a 40 minute trip. The chicken under the breading was crispy, dry, to the point it scratched the throat and felt like needles. Both my sesame breaded chicken and partner's orange chicken was like this. We ended up throwing away 3/4 of both meals because it was unpleasant to eat. We advise to use a different place if customer service and proper cooking methods are your what you desire. $41 is enough for 2 meals and 1 order of fried dumplings to not get a satisfactory meal. Lady at restaurant was aware I would be leaving my review as meal didn't meet our expectations and her wanting me to dig through the trash and drive 40 minutes to prove my statement wasn't what I call good customer service. She didn't seem bothered she was loosing a customer or leaving them with unhappy experience which should be a warning flag...
Read moreThis place is AWESOME!!!! Best Chinese food in town. They have everyones favorites and a few specialties that they only make here on the menu. I love the kung fu chicken you can ask them to make it spicier but be careful when you ask for spicey they make it REALLY HOT! The crab rangoon is amazing and the egg drop soup is the only egg drop soup that I will eat. I got to know the owners a little bit. The head chef worked in New York in Japanese, Chinese, and Thai restaurants and he mixes flavors from all three. The dishes are made fresh when you order them. Nothing premade that it sitting in a steam tray under a heat lamp. I highly recommend the Kung fu chicken if you like spice and crispy chicken. If you like no breading and spice try the Bang Bang chicken or Bang Bang shrimp if you like seafood. Almost forgot. We can't get enough of the house special lo mein. Here is a link to the website...
