I had the privilege of going to Last Mile for the first time on MLK day! The space is very welcoming and comfortable, with adequate space for seating. The space is also very clean and the workers are very kind and helpful with any questions you have. I ordered a mocha and it was delicious! On my way out, I bought their Ethiopian blend and it is truly some of the best coffee I've had in a long time. On top of being delicious, when I purchased the coffee I was able to designate a portion of funds towards 1 of 4 areas: Youth at Risk, Criminal Justice Reform, Environmental Justice, and Access to Clean Water. I am glad to see the local community has such a place that gives back so much to the people that truly keep the business going - the community itself.
The beverage choices are amazing, you can get most everything under the sun with all different pour over options and everything. If you love coffee(and in my case if you're from Australia) you'll love it. It's pretty close to getting coffee from home which is always welcome.
