The O & E Eatery — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

I’m here all the way for supporting my black people. However, I have to say for my first time trying this place the service as well as the food was a huge no for me. I’ll never eat here again. I’ll start with the customer service; when I got here the cook was outside, sitting down on the phone and when I walked in there was no greeting, or acknowledgment.. once I started to look at the menu and was asking about pricing with every answer there was an irritable response followed by a hand bang on the table. The energy definitely gave he hates his job, or/and didn’t want to be there. Once I got my food which was a cheeseburger with fries and a drink & chicken wing zings, it was made fresh to order; that is good. But the wings were salty, & the overpriced fruit punch “Kool-aid” I was served was DEFINITELY not kool aid. It was fountain juice; just can’t put an exact name on it. Only thing good was the cheeseburger but overall with the price I paid for the food was low quality...

I am all about supporting black owned businesses but this one will never again get another dime of my money... I gave this place 2 chances the first time I ordered wings and okra... The wings were salty and fatty and I requested my okra to be fried hard the guy working said it was always cooked that way, the breading was cooked ok while the okra inside was hard and undercooked. I had to wait until my shift was over to take the okra home and put it in the air fryer. The second time I went I ordered a walking taco and 2 fried tacos.... The walking taco was ice cold from the toppings and the fried taco was so hard I could barely bite it. And neither of these items had any flavor. The prices on the menu are completely different from what you are rang up for and the food is overrated and very poor quality. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I only have them a star because that's the lowest rating google...

Never been here before. Just had their burgers and all 3 agreed best burger we've had in a while and the prices are unbelievable. Will be ordering from here again for sure. Can't wait...
