So I have been a fan of this place but as of today, they are worthless and their lack of responsibility for missed orders is even worse. I placed a big order $70 because of the whole pandemic it's all take out, the line to pick up was not long but the wait was long, thats even after you called it in. I asked for one small steak quesadilla, one big steak quesadilla, 3 tacos steak plain, 1 torta no sour cream, 1 torta no tomatoes, 1 torta steak with everything, 1torta chicken, and I asked for avocado for all tortas they said it comes with it, then I ordered 4 tacos with flour tortilla of steak, and a order of mix fajitas, with that 3 large horchata. Because I called in the order they said 15 mins. So then we went to pick up the order like I said the wait time was very long, we waited once we got to the window paid then I asked my roommate to check the order before we go she didn't open the foil but she checked the fact we had everything. Because there were others in line waiting i didn't want to take more time and off we went. We get home and all four tortas had no avocado and the order of 4 flour steak tacos was not correct. Instead we got 4 American tacos all sweaty with sour cream, I called them in regards to my order being incorrect, the guy who answered apparently said they are not responsible for messed up orders, stated i should of checked the order before leaving the window. They can't do anything about it now. He never apologized nor admitted that the order was wrong. Never again will I place my orders here. The owner should be ashamed of his workers for such...
Read moreI removed some stars because I ordered three beef tongue tacos and a side order of rice. I received three beef tacos with a side of rice and beans.
This wouldn't have been an issue at all if they had charged me for exactly what I ordered. They have a taco trio that is $8.99 - if I remember correctly. The three tacos I ordered were $2.50 a piece. I was charged more than the three tacos would have been on their own for a trio order I didn't request. I was also charged more for the beans in the order, despite only asking for - and wanting - the rice. My entire order was essentially padded so I paid more than even makes sense that included items I didn't ask for and am not particularly fond of.
So while I would never go back there - seriously such an awful business tactic - the food was okay. There are better and cheaper places with Mexican food in the area that don't screw you over on prices and will give you what you ordered.
It just wasn't worth it for the quantity or quality of food I received. If you're super drunk and want to flush $20+ down the toilet for drunkies, go for it but any sober person would likely be very disappointed in...
Read moreFood: very good. I had the fajitas, it came with a lot of food. Rice and beans were tasty.
Service: servers were nice and quick. Food came out fast. They let me keep my to go container in the fridge until I could come back later to get it (appreciate the accomodation). I did get corn tortillas when I asked for flour, but not a big deal.
Atmosphere/facilities: down to earth atmosphere that I appreciate it. Indoor sit down booths and tables (different than some other tacos el cunandos). There is a step up at the door that can trip people who arent paying attention, and the mens bathroom was a bit messy.
Cost: not cheap, but not expensive. In line with other similar Mexican restaurants and worth the quality and quantity of food. They did charge me $3.50 for extra shredded cheese (and only a little bit) which I thought was a bit much.
When we got there (a Saturday at 2pm) it was busy and the clientele was diverse (Black, Latinx, White) which to me indicates its a pretty popular place that the locals really like, and I can see why! Would...
