I want to start by prefacing that I tried to correct this while at the restaurant - I don’t like taking things to a google review without a manager or an owner knowing about a situation.
We were at a table by windows and a large party was seated next to us. The way the hostesses set it up, the large party’s table was nearly on top of our making it very difficult for other customers and even staff to walk by. I had assumed the waitresses would have walked around the wall to avoid the cramped space. But instead, everyone decided to walk in between the guests with their backs on top of us causing waitresses to bump our table (spilling water in our food) and their butts in our eggs and our hash browns. This was all while there was an entire restaurant of open tables as they weren’t even busy at this time.
It took me saying something to the hostess. She had to ask me if I wanted help moving my food (sorry, but they should have done this automatically) and we didn’t see our waitresses after until it was time for the check. I would like to point out that our waitress did indeed finally say something to my husband while I was talking to the hostess, and the waitress asked if we would like to move because she felt it was too cramped. Best part of all of this was they sat a part of two at the same table we left and they clearly had the same look we had on our faces!
My point is, no one apologized for the bad experience, we never even saw a manager, not even a single thing was even offered to rectify the situation. This goes to show that they do not care about the guest experience - they just want your money. I’m extremely disappointed with how our waitress Karlie, the hostess team, and management handled...

We went for brunch today around 1pm. We ordered coffee, hot tropical green tea and a fresh squeezed (juiced) orange juice. The coffee was not exactly hot, but it was when it was topped up. My tea was perfect, and so was the orange juice- complete with the foamy goodness on top that you can only get from fresh juice- with a hint of the rind flavor …🤤
I ordered the Southwest Eggs Benedict with American fries- it was everything I hoped it would be. It was a lot of food, and the vegetarian sausage tasted really good. I ended up boxing half of it and taking it home to eat tonight.
He ordered a waffle with sides of turkey sausage and regular bacon. He poured syrup over his sausages, in case you’re wondering if they came like how they are shown in the picture- they do not 😊. He ate his meal in its entirety and said it was good.
The atmosphere is very diner-esque. It was very noisy because of the juice pressing (they have several types of fresh juices- see photos) but it always has been each time I’ve visited Anna’s house so I assume it’s meant to be that way.
Overall, I’ll return, as it is always a good place for good tea and brunch, friendly service and consistent...
Read moreThe absolute best meal I have ever had in Michigan. Service was fast, courteous, and the food was fabulous. We sat at the counter so we could avoid the Sunday brunch wait, and it was a great choice. We were originally going to eat at Cracker Barrel, but the wait was so long, and we are so glad we decided to come here instead.
We had the French Toast bites, the Cobb wrap, and the Breakfast Lasagna. Breakfast Lasagna was insane, like a beautiful quiche, there were so many layers of flavor and the Bechamel sauce was to die for. The French Toast bites were deceiving. They looked a bit dark when they were brought to the table, but upon first bite, you realized they were fried perfectly. The french toast was very fluffy and sweet, and the Creme Brulee sauce they served for dipping was to die for. My Cobb wrap was very good, I had them substitute the bleu cheese for goat cheese, and I used ranch dressing as opposed to BC. Loved their french fries and the honey mustard I used to dip them in was outstanding. I had a cup of their tomato soup as well and it was excellent! The pecan/pumpkin seed garnish was a nice touch. Their coffee was to die for, try the maple lavender latte it was delicious.
I have to commend the staff here as they were the only place we encountered on our trip that wore masks the entire time. It was nice to see at least one establishment recognizing that we are still...
