Jack in the Box downtown on Madison Avenue. They’ve closed early a couple of times here lately because and I quote “people don’t want to show up for work” but I usually do have a pretty good experience here except for the shake machine always being “down” which I’m use to that by now but tonight was horrible. They failed to tell me while I was ordering at the speaker that they were “out” of regular fries. So I got up to the window paid and got my food, went through my bag and noticed that I got curly fries and not regular. I sat there and waited for someone to acknowledge that I haven’t left yet and they all just stared at me until one of them opened the window and said “is something wrong?” I replied yes I got curly fries and that’s not what I ordered.” She said “yeah I know that’s all we got though.” I was shocked shouldn’t you have to tell the customer that while they’re ordering and not just assume that it’s okay. Well anyways I asked for a refund and the lady seemed very irritated as she responded with an eye roll and said “are you serious? What did you say?” and I replied “mam I’m sorry my son will not eat them may I please just get a refund?” as I handed her back the bag of food and went to hand her the drink and she said “we don’t want that.” so rudely talking about the drink and then walked away shaking her head while she had someone else give me the refund. I understand working in fast food can be frustrating as I was a store manager for many years but I must say that the customer service that I was given was completely unacceptable and that whole situation was unnecessary and easily could have been avoided if they would have just taken a second on the intercom while taking orders to inform customers “hello I’m sorry we are currently sold out of our regular fries, would curly fries be ok instead?” That should be stated to every customer and would save us both time and me their unpleasant attitudes for something that was...
Read moreNow this Jack in the box is getting horrible. I ordered $22 dollars in breakfast food. My French toast sticks were so burnt that you could not eat them. My breakfast sandwiches that are over 5.00 a piece. Was soaked in grease, where when you opened up the sandwich cover It was full of grease leaking out so my bread was soggy and everything was soaked in nasty grease. My 3 hash Browns were stuck together in one little packet when there suppose to be in there own packet but it was in one filled with Greece at the bottom of it. Where you couldn't eat the hash Browns at all. So my $22 in food that I spent. I take it back up there granted. Yes, was an hour later because I tried calling them knowing that it was 4 AM. Cause I really didn't plan on coming back out again But since I couldn't get ahold of them. I went ahead and went back up there and was told that I can't get my food replace. I can't get my money back or anything. So basically when you spend money at Jack in the box now and if you get crappy food you're just stuck with it. You don't get your money back. I don't see how your business can run like that. So you're business lately does not seem like it should be up and running. You serve food that is nasty. You guys don't get the orders right ever. It can be the easiest burger and you can't get it right. I've never worked at Jack in the box. But I've worked fast food and I can tell you what goes on your burgers. I could probably make them with no problem and that's not being cocky. That's just being a person with common sense. Plus not to get my money back.Yeah, I have a problem with that. That's my hard-earned working money that I spent at your restaurant. I want my money back or I wanted my food where i could eat it. So would be nice for owner or someone in charge to get back with me since the manager couldnt do her job...
Read moreI came on the drive thru on June-15-2023 at exactly 9:52 Pm and the girl on the speaker said she couldn't to take and my order because they were in a shift change. I asked her to repeat it and she told me the same thing again. When I came around the drive thru the girl at the window and the customer in in front of me driving an suv were arguing really bad. I couldn't exactly listen what the argument was about but eventually the suv left yelling very loud out of their window. I then drove up to exit the drive thru. When I drove up there was 3 employee girls inside just standing there like hanging out. I never heard of a fast food place refusing to take someones order because they are switching shifts. Why would a place even be open during a shift change just to refuse service to customers? There is nowhere in the website that says that the place is closed before 10 pm for shift change. I feel like I got denied service just because the employees didn't feel like working. Such a shame to see a jack in the box that has been there for a long time treating their customers with such a poor attitude. How are you supposed to stay in business refusing service to clients? This isn't the first time I had issues at this particular Jack In the box. The previous time I came they told me that they couldn't take my order because they were closing earlier. I can only imagine how much money they are making the owner of the place loose by not taking peoples orders randomly when they just don't...
