Joe's Original Italian Pizza — Restaurant in Granville Township

I am completely disgusted with this place!!! Over the past 5 months I've been to Joe's 3 times, the latest being Sunday September 4th at about 5 o'clock. There were only 2 or 3 booths occupied. I like to sit at the 'bistro tables" at the window looking outside. I checked my watch for the time when I sat down. It took a minimum of 15 minutes for a server to come to my table. Then instead of asking me if I needed a menu she wanted to know what I was getting to 'take out' as these tables are apparently only used by take out customers. This was ridiculous, and it wasn't the first time it happened! Once a server actually sat at the edge of a booth and talked to friends while about 2 months ago a server stood talking about her sons singing at a nearby winery. I was just getting out of my chair to leave when the server finally, after at least 15 minutes waiting, was directed to me. Also, on 2 visits I ordered pasta with marinara sauce and when I went to mix the sauce and pasta there was so much water in the bowl it was so diluted the past a looked absolutely naked. I'm willing to overlook some things and realize that when a restaurant is busy it's possible to be overlooked, but to have it happen with regularity is inexcusable and downright poor...

Called in my order was told very busy said that’s as fine. Ordered my food told it would be 70mins. I’ve ate there so much I was okay to wait the time for good food. Got there stood in line 20mins on top of the 70mins. Women at the counter ask my number walked away waited on another person who stood at the entrance of the kitchen. Comes back and told me to tell her again. Advised two taco salads she walked away. Comes back and said two taco salads one no taco. I said what?! No that’s incorrect. She said well that what wrote. I said that is not correct. No tomatoes! She advised they would cook a taco shell. I said just take money off for the shell she said no. Waited another 5 mins on the shell to be cooked. Get home to put my own salad together after all this time and paying over $58. Put my salad together and the meat was hard and tasted horrible. They never gave me salsa or sour cream. We also ordered bread sticks they never gave the sauce and it tasted like chemicals. This was by far the worst experience there!!! We will not be...

The food was delicious however the service is lacking. The waitress was more concerned with shouting from the dining area to the kitchen about cutting the lasagna which resulted in the kitchen staff arguing. We got our appetizer relatively quick but then our main course sat at the pick up station until they stopped arguing and phone calls to the owner were made.

We finished our meal and waited for 20 limited for our waitress to come back with our bill and ultimately ended up going up to request a box to go and our bill.

Only other concern I had was watching the waitress eat her dinner from the exact same space someone was slicing bread for a basket; while they were slicing it. Doesn't seem...
