McDonald's — Restaurant in Grayslake

This location gets about half of our orders right. We normally get the correct drink, but everything else is hit and miss. In the morning, the biscuits are regularly so hard and dry they aren't edible. The bagel sandwiches are the same way. I don't know if they microwave them too long or what, but usually one side of the bagel is as hard as leather. I ordered a couple biscuits the other day with bacon on them because I didn't want the egg and cheese, I just wanted 2 bacon biscuits. They gave me 2 plain dry biscuits and a couple side orders of bacon. I had to try to put them together while driving. Is that their version of a fancy deconstructed breakfast sandwich? I also ordered a couple breakfast burrito's, they didn't even bother putting those in the bag so I had to go back. That's the norm for this location, I wish there was another option, I'd never go to this location. If you go to the drive-up, you literally have to take out each item, open it, inspect it, otherwise you'll be making multiple trips thru the drive-up each time you order. I'm thinking BK needs a shot at my business since McDonalds...

This is one of my favorite locations. Honestly, it's probably my only favorite. The one on Rollins by meijer is horrible, nothing like this location. They are always nice and pleasant to interact with. They don't seem like they are irritated or annoyed to be there. My orders are always done quickly and correctly. I haven't been in the facility for a while. I'm usually going through the drive thru. Anyway they are nice and like I said they seem to enjoy their job. Friendly customer service is hard to find now a days. Especially in the fast food industry. So I give them a lot of credit for being on top of their game and always greeting me with pleasant tone and positive energy. And best of all, always getting my order right and the food tasting fresh. I can only assume that the food conditions are good because they are on top of the maintenance in their food prep area. Congratulations to every employee their and management in this location. Ordered 2 daily doubles and a Big Mac. I had been waiting at the window for a while when the girl finally decided she’d go put my order together. Came home they had given me the wrong order. Luckily, I live close so I go back. The young girl at window has an attitude she’s the one that handed me the order in the first place. They can’t get it through their head that they gave me the wrong order and I need them to remake my order. Guy in red sweater who is in charge asks me again if that’s not what I wanted 🙄 well why do you think I’m here🤔 You gave me the Big Mac and two burgers but you gave me the wrong burgers it’s suppose to be Daily doubles and they had given me a plain McDouble and a hamburger with no pickle😝 Tell me why he asks me once again what I was there for lol. One thing I didn’t like is that they tried blaming the older gentleman who takes the orders. I told them he wasn’t even the one that took my order in the first place! The girl at the window has to make sure she’s giving out the right orders also it...
