Decided to try this place as we were disappointed in Beef O Brady's. You seat yourself which isn't a great idea in a pandemic. There was a table open which hadn't been bussed. Waited for 5 minutes while 5 servers and the bar tender were in the bar area until someone finally asked how many of us were there. They "checked" to see what was open, grabbed the dirty dishes off the table and sat us down. My mother sanitized the table (there was still food gunk and ringlets on the table), the menus weren't and could not be sanitized (mine had dried ketchup on it). As someone else stated, masks are apparently optional for the staff. One waitress had hers hanging on her ear the entire hour we were there as she moved from table to table and the bar. The bus boy who came and took our plates at the end of our meal didnt have a mask at all. We waited an unusual amount of time for what honestly shouldn't have taken so long since there was no risotto (30 minutes). Waitress didnt know the risotto was out since she went to see if my meal came with risotto but should have had some knowledge as to what comes with the meal since risotto is a staple it seems on all the entrees. The food was cooked fine, was pretty much bland though, and our waitress was Johnny on the spot and attended to us well. For what I paid, however, the food was mediocre and the amount of food did not...
Read moreWe chose to bring some family out to eat here. Two adults, three 8 year olds, one 3yr old and an infant (8 months) when we got there at 5 pm there was one other table seated, so not busy, I had to ask three times for a high chair and still wasn’t given one, had to get up and get it myself. Our server Lauren was not attentive or friendly or anything, I’m used to being treated this way by servers when I go out with children because they think they won’t get a good tip because there are children. So the whole time we went without being checked on or offered any refills, when we were able to catch her long enough to ask for something we were told “when she has a minute” so it was on her time..the employee..not us paying customers time. The food took an hour. Two rare steaks. The steaks were great I will say. We get our bill to find the server automcially charged us a “large party gratuity” of 18% of the whole bill. So that explains why she didn’t give us good service because she knew she’d add her own gratuity. How is an old woman, a mother, three 8 year olds, a 3 year old and an INFANT that doesn’t even eat food!! Count as a large party. All four children has kids meals…we were forced to tip the bad server more than what the whole meals costed per person!! That’s outrageous. I will...
Read moreFirst of all I just want to say that the first impression was not so good. There was a very rude older lady with no customer service serving a group of older Caucasian men. She told me I could not sit on the patio where they were sitting because there were no servers to service me. If I wanted to eat out there I would have to serve myself. I explained to a server by the name of Lauren A and she saved the day not knowing it was my first time there. She treated me with much respect and had great customer service skills. She explained to me although they were short staffed and if I truly prefer to eat outside on the patio she would serve me. Her service was great and so was the food she recommended. I left her a tip of more then the recommended amount because she was amazing. Just a warning the staff truly should be aware of how they treat the guess never know who is part of the secret shoppers or Inspection. Discrimination will get you no where and treating certain guess a certain type of way because of your feelings will get your place of business a bad reputation. Some one needs better training or a new...
